The Bermuda National Trust tours and museums are marvellous. Up close looks at 400 years of history in Bermuda, and how this little island played important, if not pivotal roles in the American Revolution and the Civil War. Fascinating stories about the people that made a difference. Beautiful furniture, China and artefacts, and a great little gift shop in St Georges. Anyone with the slightest interest in history will enjoy hours here...

We were walking around the St. George community and found this incredible Hidden Gem...by chance. We had found "The Unfinished Church" and as we walked around taking photos the road to the right of the entrance compelled us to keep walking. A short walk up the hill and down toward the ocean we found this beautiful beach "Tobacco Bay Park". Absolutely wonderful view.

Ask if Patrick is around when you visit — super guy who loves to share the story of the fort, St. George’s & Bermuda ????????. We spent some time talking with him and could have talked with him all day — incredibly knowledgeable and a great ambassador for his island!!

A local suggested we visit this beach. We were not disappointed. The sand is a little rocky compared to Horseshoe bay but still beautiful. It in a sweet little cove. When the tide is in there is very little beach but there is a cute little place that rents chairs, umbrellas and kayak. When you need a break from the beach or get hungry you can climb the stairs to The Beach House and have a delicious fish sandwich.

This is a really nice slightly off the beaten path historic park in St. Georges commemorating the founding of the island. Definitely worth a visit and a beautiful place to sit in the shade for a bit on your way to the unfinished Cathedral.

we visited saint George from our cruise ship it was a nice ferry ride, the town is steeped in history and the people are so friendly I loved the buildings they were so colorful. we missed the dunking of the nagging wife but got to talk to the town crier which was fun. We stopped for lunch at the Whitehorse inn and it was so good the barman was a wealth of information after lunch we visited the town hall and we bumped into the ex Mayer who gave us a tour of the building. After all this we visited some of the local shops and the post office where the lady that served us could not have more helpful. would I go again? YES thank you all in saint George for welcoming us to your parish

My daughter and I came over to St. George's on the ferry and went around St. George a little while and then planned to take either ferry or bus back over to King's Wharf by 4pm. We wanted to go to the beach on the way, and of course we wanted to be sure to take the best route in order to get back on time. The people there not only were pleasant and professional, but they gave us advice on good places to stop for the beach, which beaches on the way were the most beautiful but least crowded, and specific information on exactly what routes to take to get there, considering our time limitations, as well as providing maps. The souvenirs were also a much better quality and value (I thought) than some of the more touristy places around the Cruise ship wharf.

In our Theatre Room you can sit back and enjoy a short film "A Stroll through St. George's" and then view the mural artwork by Emile A. Verpilleux in our upstairs gallery. On our Main floor we have interactive educational exhibits which highlight "The Age of Discovery, Bermuda's historic links to Jamestown, the wreck of the "Sea Venture" and the story of Bermuda's first forts. The ground floor also houses Second-Hand Rose, our charity shop with a great selection of gently-used second-hand "treasures"!
