Just by the lake in the middle of the city. Easy to park. Spacious place with lots of tables and not crowded. Service is polite and excellent. Food is nothing special, but Mediterranean fish soup is great.
Not a typical value for money place, but service and location compensates.
Give it a try.

Located by a beautiful lake, we stopped here for coffee, cake and pastries on our way to Budapest. We ate outside by the lake, under beautiful large growth trees.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The coffee was excellent and the desserts, absolutely delicious.
I highly recommend this place and given the quality of service and scrumptious desserts, I plan to return for lunch and or dinner entrees.

Easy to find parking, great location by a curve below the castle. They have outside Seating in case of good weather. Decent enterior, well maintained.
Waiters are polite, feels like they care and provide service. No complaint.
We wanted to order deer as a special meal but they run out. Rest is not really special. I recommend both appetizers, mushrooms and ham is excellent.
Dishes were fine, taste was okay. Normal size of food.
Worth a visit, value for money.

We bought two cakes and couple of dark chocolates.
Cakes were so fresh, loved the fruits in them, especially the peachy one was delicious .
Excellent customer service, prices are little bit high due to it's fine healty ingredients.
Normally I take pics, but by the time I remembered to do so they gone ;-) that tells how good they were.

If you like trying hungarian food this is a good place. Quality and prices are at satisfying level. I would suggest only to speed up a little bit the service because (form me especially for dinner after work) it is important to be fast.

This is a very good café with a wide range of choice in delicious cakes, lovely ice-cream, beautiful furniture as well as very well-located but I think it is a bit overpriced. Also, their coffee, tea, hot chocolate selection -as far as I remember- could and should be improved to get an "excellent" rating from me. The waitresses seem quite unwilling sometimes, especially on a busy day.

When you take a late night walk in a small lakeside Hungarian town (mind you, Tata is just superb, though unfortunately rarely visited small town just a few miles from the Vienna-Budapest motorway!) on a hot summer night, looking for some tasty bites, it is a surprise to find a friendly small eatery with perfect spicy dishes, a smiling chef/waiter coming straight from Alexandria. No wonder we returned the following days, too. Great Arab Burger (hot-hot-hot), Shaorma and dishes like that. The breakfast menu and the very-very cheap lunch menu (1.5 to 3 EUR) are also worth mentioning. One street away from the shore, outdoor Seating, too.

A new, affordable self-service restaurant in the centrum of smalltown Tata. Burgers and Pastas are really delicious. The place is dog-friendly and has a beautiful lakeside Terrace as well. If the prices remain at this level, it will be very popular among youngs. Please take care of emptying the trash cans in time!

Great pirates resturant that your kids will love to eat here.
The resturant designed like a pirate ship, very nicely decorated.
The food is very good, try the gulash soup... It is great.
They have also a kids meals with desert.
The prices are very good, soup 1000 HUF, chicken breast 2300 HUF, stake 4700 HUF.
And the cam combined a gluten free meal - the chicken breast.
Very good.
