Loch Lomond Seaplanes

Unforgettable iconic seaplane flights over one of the most magnificent landscapes in the world!

Reviewed By Bob S

They made special arrangements for the flight so our 8 year old son who has learning difficulty and visual impairments, could enjoy the flight. Very considerate and professional and allowed him to enjoy what was a real memory making day for him. Could not thank them enough.
The flight and views are stunning, right out towards Jura, Arron and the firth of Clyde. Quite simply well worth the expense for our wee boy, helping to build stunning positive memories and family experiences. We will be booking again.

Auchentullich Farm Shop

We are a small family run dairy farm on the banks of Loch Lomond, promoting fresh local Scottish produce. We have a range of locally supplied meat, veg and condiments to suit all you foodies out there. Opening Hours: 7 days a week, 10am-6pm.

Great local meat, hand made ice cream and milk from the herd on site. Proper non-homogenised although still pasteurised. In fact, so old school that my accompanying teenagers refused to drink it as they are not used to cream on the top of milk and refused to believe that it hadn't "gone off". But they are the sort of teenagers who don't understand how I accessed facebook before we had mobile phones.....

Portnellan Organic Farm

Portnellan is a family run organic beef farm on the southern shore of Loch Lomond and has been farmed by the Scott-Park family since 1952. Over the last few years Portnellan has diversified into self-catering, glamping, speedboat tours, paddle board hire and boat moorings. The farm occupies a magnificent location on the shores of Loch Lomond and offers panoramic views over the loch and Mountains. Only 40 minutes from Glasgow, Portnellan Farm offers both privacy and seclusion whilst being easy to get to from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The farm has its own pier from which Chris operates speedboat tours and SUP hire. At 24 miles long and up to 5 miles wide, Loch Lomond is the UK's largest inland body of water and probably the most famous! Explore some of the most beautiful scenery Scotland has to offer by luxury speedboat or by paddle board.

When it comes to unparalleled beauty, you'd be hard-pushed to find somewhere that competes with Portnellan. My new husband and I have travelled a lot and can honestly say we've never had a nicer stay anywhere in the world and are extremely grateful to David, Freda and Chris for making it so special.
I could go on and on about everything we loved, but in short, it was all perfect. Stunning views, clean and cosy accommodation, excellent facilities, great communication in the run-up to and throughout our stay and a super-friendly family made our trip seamless and enjoyable and we'll definitely return one day. Thank you, David, Freda and Chris for such a wonderful week!

Loch Lomond Brewery

Tried these beers last night at the Loch Lomond Arms in Luss, and knew we had to visit the actual brewery today.
Great selection of beers and what lovely folk too - the kind of business you really want to succeed.
Shop is well worth a visit - all 6 beers on sale along with their lovely pint glasses.
If you're a real ale fan, figure this into your travels-you won't be disappointed.
