Fish and chips are the best. Always fresh and well prepared. Great selection of beers too. There is a pub side with bar and TVs and a quieter dining area on the other side of the restaurant. Servers are always friendly and attentive. Great for friends and family. Reservations recommended, this place is so good it always seems to be busy so we book to be safe.

This is an update to my earlier review. I continue to eat at least once a month, almost always lunch. The lunch menu is ample and the dishes very good. They will also serve off the dinner menu at the noon hour, if that is your preference. We have been waited on by many individuals but every one is very pleasant, very knowledgable about the menu, and always reflects the possibility of personal preferences in any dish. A dinner dish served to me at noon means I have the next days lunch ready!

Was surprised at the prices...
Pretty pricey.
Until I received my burger and fries.
Wow.
Huge and filling!
Absolutely delicious.

Order taken quickly and friendly.
Waited a few mins for food which I didnt mind as I watched them cook and prepare it.
Very clean restaurant. Bathrooms clean too.

Decided to try this restaurant. I am peased to say completely satisfied with our first visit. Enjoyed a variety of dishes including: soup of the day, caesar salad, chicken saltimoboca, penne and cannelloni. All dishes flavourful and cannelloni house made. Finished with homemade desserts. Variety of wine by the glass, half litre or bottle. Service was attentive. Rustic setting in heritage home. Ample parking. Thank you, will return.

By far, the best place for Chinese or Thai food in Stittsville. A varied menu always brings the best quality of food.
The restaurant is small with a cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. The take out business is always busy.
I recommend the Pad Thai and for starters dumplings with maple syrup sauce. You will get a fine meal any day of the week.

Enjoyed some fantastic food - corn bread made on site; awesome steak; decadent beet salad and yummy fish tacos. Enjoyed wine by the glass and a very attentive and personable waitress. My only regret was that I was too full to try dessert. We would definitely go back again!

Visited on a trip to Canada from Scotland .Had visited before when restaurant was in previous loctaion and have to say that was much better than this time round -sorry guys ! This time long wait for a table -hadn't pre booked though -was kind of a spur of the moment treat from people we know who thought we would like it -and obviously this is avery popular establishment -many people ahead of us in the queue. When table did become available several menu choices weren't available and several beers not available either .When the food did arrive it was OK but no more than that -had better in some more local bars in Ottawa area without driving out to Kanata .Obvious;y we visited on an extremely busy evening without a reservation so suggest booking ahead .Service the evening we visited was very slow -server was very nice ....but the service was slow and restaurant was very busy ...Maybe a bit short staffed ?This is clearly a popular restaurant and they do hold special events throughout the year which sounded great . Guess we just caught it on an off night this time round .

Visited NEXT last night for a birthday dinner for my sister. Two couples... one couple was meat eaters and the other pescatarian. Everything was awesome. Started with deep fried cheese curds, olive baguette and edamame pillows. NEXT we went on to K-Pow cauliflower and humboldt squid (trust me I was skeptical too but it was delicious). NEXT the main dishes were sea scallops, ling cod, crispy chicken and pork belly. Probably should have stopped after the second course and definitely after the mains. But hey... gluttons for punishment, we loosened the belt buckles and brought on the NEXT creation... the sweet board for dessert (a mixed bag of sweet goodness). The only issue was there was a bit of a cool draft in the room. Other than that, it was a perfect evening. I’m still full!! If you want an awesome dining experience go to NEXT!

This is our all-time favorite coffee shop ANYWHERE, and ESPECIALLY in Stittsville. Despite some competition, this is the only REAL coffee shop with a REAL Barista that knows how to make a perfect latte, espresso or whatever you desire!
Recently, Gaia started offering Kombucha (fermented drink that is basically like a high-powered pro-biotic), Bulletproof Coffee and frozen bone broth! These are great for your health and it's so nice to be able to buy bottles of Kombucha without having to grow it at home! Each day or week is a different flavour and so far all have been EXCELLENT!!!
So pleased that Stittsville has this gem!
