A part of the National Capital Region, Stittsville is immediately to the southwest of Kanata, and about 31 km (19 mi) west of Downtown Ottawa. The urban part of the community corresponds to Stittsville Ward on Ottawa City Council. Went to Mahogany to get my haircut. They greeted me right away and offered me a drink then took me right in, no problems. Employees were nice and treated me well. Place was clean, well organized, and looked good. Best service I have ever received compared to any other barber or hairstylist. I would definitely go back again !

I have been going here for years. I love the ambience and very skilled instructors. Attend mainly gentle and restorative classes. Well done, with nice variety of music. Suzanne McCafferty is my favouite instructor.

I try to pop inside once a month as I like to buy vinyl records and CDs. There is a guy inside (near the back) that has a pretty good selection and fair prices.

I've enjoyed the selection in beers as well as the type of sizes you can get. Cans, bottles, small and large growlers are all availible. They are very helpful and let you try many of the beers when you walk in to the tap room. They have also opened a room where you can buy a pint and hang out and watch some TV.
I recently found out that they also have a charity that comes to pickup growlers for 1$ off each deposit to return other Breweries in town, so a nice way to simplify your growler returns.
Might as well pickup some swag or a glass while you are there too.

Had a group of 10+ with all ages from youngest 10 & up. Bought the special promo but the price for the paint balls were exorbitant. Worked out to be over $80 per pax. Stopped one day just on a lark...Not a big local museum guy usually but I enjoyed the place and exhibits. Anyone living in Stittsville MUST visit this museum. Enjoy your local history ! Worth the drive from Ottawa in my opinion and any visitors to Ottawa should consider it.

We just took our granddaughters to Karers Korner the other day and they loved it. They have mini golf, a games arcade, go kart track where you can ride alone or a two seater version. They also have a track where small children can ride an electric car which looks like an ATV. Everybody had fun and we will return.
