Everything about the Birdcage is pure Thailand, from the exotic water feature at the door to the authentic etiquette displayed throughout your meal. What will really transport you across the continent; however, are the sizzling sounds and enticing aromas from the open kitchen, where Chef Narong creates Thai specialties such as Garlic Pepper Shrimp, Cashew Chicken and Crispy Rice with Peanut Sauce.Location: In the Semiramis InterContinental Hotel - 2nd level Services: Lunch | Dinner

Sabaya may be rooted in Lebanese tradition, but Chef Nasser Makhoul is willing to branch out with contemporary flair. Mezzas are the magic of the menu, with hot and cold options including Kebbe Nayye, Stuffed Vine Leaves, Hommow Bil Awarma, Makanik and Cheese Manaqish. In accordance with Lebanese custom, you’ll be brought to the lounge for after-dinner tea, sweets and conversation.Location: In the Semiramis InterContinental Cairo Hotel - 2nd level Services: Lunch | Dinner
As a Lover of lebanese Food I tried Sabaya. There was a warm welcome, seats are a little bit unconfy and lights are not very good - (I like to read whjen dining alone) I orderes dthe menu with hot and cold mezze, served with a plate of greens and herbs and the plate was quite big for one. Main course was a mixed grill, diferent meats, sauces nice pita bread . Unfortunately the main course came to fast, then the whole meal got cold. Portions are too big. It's enough for two people. Pepermint tea was lovely. Service was good all the time

Guests familiar with the flavours and spices of Lebanese cuisine will find them blended to perfection at Fayruz. for newcomers, let the famously friendly staff introduce you over lunch on the outdoor Terrace or an exotic dinner show with live belly dancing. The interior is delightfully authentic and evocative.
I visited this place on my second night in Cairo along with our belly dancing group from South Africa! The belly dance Soraia takes the ambience to an entirely different level. Matched by awesome food and brilliant service, this place is a MUST SEE for all tourists.

From tasty snacks to a la carte meals to full buffet dinners with live cooking by top chefs, the Esplanade offers 24 hours variety without compromising on quality.
I chose this restaurant which is located in the Intercontinental Citystars Hotel on a business trip. The buffet is vast with great quality food. It is definitely worth a visit. My only complaint is hat the staff are trying too hard. They offered to carry my plate around for me whilst serving myself st the buffet which at 54 and healthy I can do myself. The food is great and I would recommend it.

The Night & Day is buffet dining a la minute at its finest. Chefs wait at their cooking stations to prepare fusion fare to order. The Asian station offers dim sum and Sushi, wok and Teppanyaki specialties, the grill station is where you'll go for Oriental and Tandouri items and the pasta and noodle station is just right for lighter bites. Salad, cold cut, carving and dessert stations complete the feast. Check out the Big Friday brunch for only $26 Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Located in the lobby area of the Intercontinental Semiramas this restaurant serves buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The breakfast is excellent with good choices of western and Egyptian foods-- The fresh baked Egyptian Bread rolls were high on my list. Also the selection of fresh juices were great.
I did also eat there one night for dinner-- again well presented and tasty food.

During my recent trip to Egypt and a shopping spree at the mall, I found myself famished and craving substantial Indian cuisine. Low and behold, I walked into Indira not knowing what to expect. As soon as I entered, the atmosphere took hold and I was transported to another time and space. The deep colored wood tables, hints of gold from decorative elephants, floral arrangements, all pleasing and complimentary colors for the eyes. The air was heavy with the smell of mouthwatering spices and the smoky smell and sound of fresh sizzling tandoori being served. The entire experience tantalized all of my senses and created a sense of calm. As I was escorted to a nice table toward the back of the restaurant, I was greeted by my waiter and within a few minutes, a glass of mango lassi was brought to my table with poppadums' accompanied by several varieties of condiments. What a treat. I found myself totally relaxed and greatly enjoying this experience. When my meal arrived, it was amazing. I ordered prawn curry and garlic naan. What a meal! The portions were generous and oh so flavorful. I savored every bite and ended up finishing the entire meal. I ordered tea and gulab jamun for dessert and found myself content. I believe this experience was enhanced due to the time of my arrival, just around 1:30 pm. There were still a few patrons in the restaurant, but the lunch crowd had already dissipated, making my meal all the more enjoyable. I had time to contemplate so many things on my mind, eat a wonderful meal and relax. Pricing is slightly on the higher end, but the establishment clearly exudes class, so it is not a surprise when looking at the menu. I highly recommend Indira on so many levels, and yes, including the awesome food!

"Breezy and sunlit, Carlo’s Restaurant & Café is located outdoors on the Terrace offering fine Illy’s coffee, fresh juices, seasonal salads, sandwiches and light meals. Or just enjoy a Shisha (Hooka) with a spectacular Nile view. Carlo’s also hosts special events like the World Cup games on it’s large outdoor screen.
Carlo’s la pacha boat restaurant & cafe located in Zamalk area, it’s outdoor in the Terrace but they close the roof when it needs.
They have a really delicious different types of food, plus a nice coffee and snacks.
They serve Shisha.
They put a huge TV screen. So people can enjoy the football games with their friends.
Every time I am in Cairo I have to go there at least once.
For the parking there it’s not easy but they have valet parking.
I recommended visiting the place.
The only low point is the service is not that good.
