This place is an example that should be followed by others in town. The food is delicious! We've tried the trouts (they have many different recipes!) the cheese soup and the fondue.... All recommendable!!!
The service is good, they have multiple choices for wine and beer and a very nice live music! All that you need...

It's a beautiful restaurant with some very different dishes (such as codfish gnocci) and some very country gramma's dished with a twist, that is both surprising and tasteful.
It isn't cheap but the price is fair for what they offer. It can get pretty crowded, so be prepared for waiting a bit.

Restaurant Arco Iris, is located on a property with 20,000 m2 of recreation area. It is located in a former power plant that generated electricity to power the mill that existed on the site. The house retains the architecture of the time with brick and mining sconces. You can have lunch at the restaurant deck in front of a waterfall. The restaurant also has at his side a lake of 3,000 m2 surface, where you can also have lunch in the comfortable kiosks also has expansive lawn and pond with island. From the kiosk has a beautiful view of the Mountains of Mantiqueira

Up a long dirt track, a sweet restaurant serving buffet lunch with typical regional food. A family run fruit tree farm, with this restaurant at it's hub. A popular place for Sunday lunch. You can sit on the deck overlooking the fruit trees and rolling hills, or sit on the restaurant veranda and have lunch buffet style. It is relaxed with a playground for children and hammocks in the orchard for that after lunch siesta.
One down side for me, but this may be personal, is the loud intrusive music. I would have preferred to listen to the quiet and the birds.

The place is lovely, the prices considerably lower than the surrounding restaurants, specially for fondue.
Not surprisingly, there's no free lunch. We got half a bowl of fondue. To be fair, it was tasty - but both me and my wife had to have another dinner - so consider it a starter priced as main dish.
The waiters are caring and the wine has a pretty honest price.

O lugar é afastado, mas se estiver passando por perto vale muito parar para degustar um sorvete artesanal, feito com ingredientes da própria fazenda.
A dica é o sorvete de doce de leite com macadâmia, realmente uma deliciosa surpresa.
Vale cada lambida.
O lugar também é bem agradável.
