The church of Sta. Terezinha is a real neogothic treasure placed in a green lively square in the center of Taubaté. it's towns favorite church when it comes to ceremonies, due to its grandiosity and beauty. The church is said to be the first temple in the world build in honor of Santa Terezinha (St. Therese of Lisieux), and it was inspired by the church of St. Pierre of Lisieux. Its interior is sumptuous with beautiful gothic columns and arches along its three isles. The main marble altar is surrounded by frescoes and houses the sculpture of Our Lady of Carmo with baby Jesus and Santa Terezinha, manufactured in Spain. The church still counts with frescos from Álvaro Pereira and sculptures of the 12 apostles from Zé Demétrio and beautiful stained glass from different artists. It is a must to check on it when visiting Taubaté.

In a modern setting, this museum displays a remarkable natural history collection brought together by Dr Herculano Alvarenga. The palaeontology section is especially good, with many original fossils and casts illustrating the history of life, with the emphasis on South America. One fo the highlights of the collection is the skeleton of the giant carnivorous bird Paraphysornis, found near Taubaté. The zoology collection is also worth seeing. This museum is of interest both for specialists and for the general public, including children. Definitely one of the main tourist attractions in Taubaté.

A casa do Monteiro Lobato poderia ser melhor explorado e cuidada! O espaço é grande, ocupa um quarteirão, os personagens ficam expostos pelo local, com placas indicativas para quem quiser posar para fotos! Dentro da casa tem um museu contando a história de Monteiro Lobato! Tem fotos e mobiliários da época! Tem uma sala biblioteca! Varal de fotos com exposição de fotos dos artistas que fazem os personagens e apresentam as peças teatrais. Os teatros tem dias e horários marcados. No horário que fomos estavam as personagens Narizinho, que por sinal é lindíssima, super simpática, alegre e gentil e tia Anastácia. Elas nos guiaram durante a visita e tiraram fotos com a gente! Nota 10 para as 2. No fundo da casa tem um espaço simples mas muito interessante e com cadeirinhas para as apresentações teatrais. É um lugar e uma história que faz parte da nossa história. Cresci assistindo o Sítio do Pica Pau Amarelo! As autoridades locais e até nacionais deviam dar mais atenção para o lugar. Preservar, melhorar a estrutura e divulgar mais. Afinal, ali é passagem para Aparecida e poderia se tornar ponto de parada para uma visita especial. Um escritor nosso, brasileiro, maravilhoso, obras literárias riquíssimas com certeza merece mais, merece jamais ser esquecido e precisa ser celebrado!

If you are at Taubaté City, you must go, for one afternoon or evening, to stroll around at Santa Terezinha Square. There are a beautiful catholic church there. There are a playground for kids. And, you should try the way people there eat popcorn. They eat it with fried parmesan cheese. It is wonderful and at Santa Terezinha, on evenings, there are plenty of small carts which sell it.

The museum is a little house with a little library, stuff about Carnival and the autor's life and a backyard. It's inside a kind of a park where there're statues of his characters. Free entrance and, besides, visitors can catch mangos from the trees. Far from the main bus station, but I did it on foot. I didn't watch any play there, probably because it's the last week of the year.

Cliente serve seu próprio prato o qual melhor, culinária. com mais 30 pratos diferentes. tem o prato tradicional . plato vegetariano. churrasco, O cliente pode escolher o prato mais barato e mais caro. Por este motivo uma super lotação do restaurante, atraem todos clientes sue platos promocional, serve também por quilo executivo. Não podemos deixar de falar melhor prato do melhor preço

It is close to a nice Italian restaurant called Cantina Gadille.
The museu runs week days and is locate in a very old building.
