Really good pasta and pizza. Authentic Italian in style especially the pasta Carbonara. But 33 dollars was the cheapest wine - admittedly a nice chianti - is out of line here. The garlic bread was pretty good too. We would go again.

We had just arrived in San Juan late evening so first thing to do in am was find coffee of course. So wandering around town stopped at several places to try and buy a cup of joe to go to no avail. Then stumbled on the barrio which if Im correct means neighborhood? Went inside and got 2 cups to go and breakfast to go AWESOME.So next time in town get the coffee you wont be disappointed.

This is a party restaurant with good to excellent bar food and main dishes. The chef is sensitive to people with food allergies and dietary restrictions. I had a chicken fettuccine with a very good white sauce with butter and onion. Live music came on at 8:00 PM with a pretty good band playing 80’s and 90’s standards like Eagles, ABBA, Heart, etc. The staff surprised us with a lively Nica serenade and gifts of cake and a maraca for the kids to honor Mt daughter’s birthday. A Boston professional at 48–she was delighted and so were her kids.

All the pastry and bakery is very delicious and you want to buy everything you see. The flavor and texture of the pastry is incredibly delicious!! I recommend to try one of each and make your order the day before or in the morning because everything is sold out very fast!!!

taco stop is my favorite restaurant of all the restaurants i have at at worldwide. i give it a solid 5 star and number 1 rating from the more than 1000 different restaurants i have been to. Don't go to Nicaragua without going to taco stop. seriously, its that good.

Stopped in for a quick bite on a recommendation by house mates. I was so surprised once I walked into the door to head toward the back garden area. Super fun, inviting and great atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying their delicious smoothies and healthy bites! Definitely will be back to just enjoy the garden and refreshing atmosphere. Fair priced for such fresh ingredients and quantity ! A must stop!

My wife and I first discovered this special shop a few years ago while living in San Juan Del Sur and have been satisfied customers ever since. Even though we've moved away from San Juan, we still make it a point to stop by this shop every time we're back in town. In our opinion, their Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor is well-deserved. We love gelato and Superfrutto serves the best gelato we have ever found after traveling throughout most of Nicaragua. My wife is a huge fan of their coconut flavor, while I enjoy the wide variety of their flavor selections. In addition to their gelato, the new Superfrutto shop is very impressive too.
