Visited Esthers Café one Sunday with little traffic. A few other guests, but otherwise pretty quiet. Concept quite pleasant with various vintage/retro furniture. The unfortunate side of it is that it also provides a somewhat peculiar odor in the premises which are far from fresh. We ordered tea and cakes which were perfectly OK. First we had asked for cappuccino and received a somewhat condescending comment that it was not to be found. Prices are also a bit on the top of where it should be. We will probably give it a chance later.

Food is perfect, attendance and service so perfect, the owner take care of you and very concern about your meal. I love it, always when I go to Saffle I go to this restaurant ever. Good quality, good price. I recommend to everyone you will no regret.

I have been there a couple of times and must say the potential is there. Very good location and top concept. Food was been OK the first times but service not what I expected.
Last time we were there was last day of summer holiday 2012 and there packed with people. It was a queue to order food and we had waited more than 30 minutes in line before it was our turn. We wanted something standard to eat similar to the person in front of me. I must say I was surprised when the cashier told me "kitchen is just closed..." Still with more than 15 pepole waiting in queue to order a meal on their way home from holidays. I was even more upset when two of the other personnel started to prepare their own food and started to eat. My goodness, I have never experienced such ignorance and left in anger. Have not been there since, but will give the place one more chance. I really hope thing has changed, because I love the concept.

With a family of four we really enjoyed eating outdoors. This place also has a nice selection of beers. Try the Erikberg from tap. Let's get down to the food. We had salmon, burger and teppanyaki steak while the youngest chose a kids menu of nacho's. We all enjoyed our meals. The teppanyaki was a bit too salt for me..and you have to stirr the veggies in your hot plate as soon as it arrives otherwise it will be burned on one side.
Service was friendly and damn quick. I would definitely come again here

Had lunch in here a few times now, pizzas, lasagnes and pasta dishes all really nice. Not a huge amount of choice in Saffle and this place has changed owners and food type a few times over the years. Staff always friendly and helpful

Nice lunch place with daily fish meat and salad to choose between. Nice staff and nice located in the small towm of Säffle.Try their Black Rock Grill -so tasty!!!(not served at lunch time though)

This café has the best "semlor"(swedish bum with almond paste and whipped cream) in the world!! Nice staff and retro interior worth to see. Placed in one of Säffles oldest building (17th century). Something for all.Not suitable for people wtih disabled by limitied walking since there is no elevator upstairs to the café. But nice place to sit outside. Worth a visit!

En aptit retare med tapenade på knäcke och picklad rödlök, förrätt gravad gös och gravad hjort med olika små emulsioner, en lite speciell surf and turf, varmrätt ankbröst på risottobädd och rödvins sås. Dessert amerikansk pannkaka med brie ost, husets egen honung samt hallon eller hemmagjord vaniljglass. Allt otroligt gott och vällagat, en fantastisk meny och vinerna som rekommenderades till var riktigt bra. Pannkakan levde inte upp till de andra rätterna men totalt sett riktigt bra. Service i toppklass och personligt engagemang från personalen.

Popular place with local office workers, construction workers, and visitors. Serving Pizzas and daily special meals at very reasonable price. I enjoyed very tasty steak, creamed potatoes, mixed veg a gravy served on a wooden board. A cold soft drink came with the meal, followed by a coffee. All for SEK 89.
Very friendly staff helping an Englishman through the menu, and serving with a smile.
It was my first visit, and I will add them to my evening meal choice when visiting.
