best greek restaurant in rendsburg, ver busy, you have to book a tbale before. get a lot of uzos for free, massive foodplates, you can take it home. Dont go to another greek restaurant in rendsburg as this is the best one.

Needed a place to eat while spending the night in a neighboring town. Quiet atmosphere, helpful Waitstaff and great food. Had the wiener snitzel with mushrooms and brown sauce and husband had the Turkey grilled filet with white asparagus. Both came with fabulous potato croquettes. Good sized portions and a good local beer - Flensbueg Pilsner.

Not just typical, but good also. There is a good fish and the place has a view of the ships that sail through the channel.
An interesting point: every ship that sail through the channel will be follow by its own national anthem provided by the restaurant.
Negative point: The service. And this was the reason to not receive the excellent evaluation.

Ordered a "gourmet plate" at 13 euro which apparently consisted of leftovers from other guests. There was cold egg, roastbeef, small piece of cold beef, dry bread etc. Nothing Italian except a tiny piece of mozzarella and 1 olive.
After this we ordered a pizza. Everything was good except the cheese that kinda destroyed the experience.

Das Lokal liegt am Schloßplatz, etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt in der Nähe des Obereiderhafens. Es verfügt über ca. 60 Innenplätze. Der Karte bietet neben internationalen Gerichten auch die typischen kroatischen Essen, alles angesiedelt in der mittleren Preisklasse. Auch vegetarische Gerichte werden angeboten. Günstig erscheinen die Getränke, z.B. ein Wein (0,2l) kostet nur 3,90€. Wir wählten den Grillteller aus der Mittagskarte für 9,50€. Er war geschmacklich i.O. und auch von der Menge her ausreichend. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte auf jeden Fall. Bedient wurden wir sehr freundlich und aufmerksam - insgesamt gesehen ein Lokal, das man getrost weiter empfehlen kann.

This place was a little difficult to find; it seems that in the winter only the basement is open, so you have to walk into what looks like a closed restaurant and then head downstairs. But once inside, it's a very pretty brick vaulted cellar.
Staff are friendly and spoke good English (alongside German and Italian), English language menus are available. Nice food, I had veal steaks with a creamy mushroom sauce, served with a side of fresh veg and roast potatoes with rosemary.
Recommended if you're staying in Rendsburg

This is a restaurant in the marina at Rendsburg Yacht Harbor. Excellent service and a very good food selection. This entire town was an amazing surprise and we will even stay a second night in the marina as we sail the Kiel Canal.

Restaurant and hotel are conveniently located between the cities of Rendsburg and Eckernförde. As the location is on top of one of the highest elevations in the area you get great scenery views over the countryside all the way to the Baltic Sea. The restaurant serves food nearly the whole day. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet in the morning. Throughout lunch and dinner food is served a la carte with a good choice of seasonal dishes. Most of the ingredients are from nearby farmers. The chef is excellent, he usually explains the different dishes to the dinner guests. If you are staying in Rendsburg or Eckernförde try to rent a bike and take a bike tour to this great place. You will have to go uphill for a while but get great views and foods before you can roll back downhill and enjoy this great area.

Sehr nettes, geduldiges und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr große Auswahl an verschiedenen Eissorten und Eisbechern. Frühstück und Snacks werden auch angeboten. Sehr empfehlenswert.
