We have selected this restaurant because it was the closest one to the Modlin airport in Warsaw. We had to wait for the delayed arrival and decided that we don't want to spend hour and half in the airport. And what a good choice it was.
The place is new, very well planned with big Terrace. There are nicely preserved old cellars underneath Terrace turned into a dance floor.
But the best in the restaurant was a cook. A real artist. We just wanted something small so we took apetisers - asparagous soup and asparagus in the the hollandaise sause with fried egg. We were not very hungry, yet both dishes were unbelievable good. With delicate spices, ideal flavours. Heaven in our mouths. We were eating slowly and with delight until the last bit was over. Then I couldn't resist creme brulee. And again it was perfect. Poetry.
Definetely I will go to this restaurant every time I will be nearby.

I expected succulent roast venison, instead I got home made diet braised meat. With a load of boiled carrots. Nice dumplings. Everything beautifully seasoned, meat not dry, but... a little bland. I went there especially. Shouldn't have bothered.

The renovation is nice but the entrance is strange and so is the signboard. I came to this restaurant because I was staying in the rooms upstairs. I will review the rooms upstairs when Tripadvisor adds them as a hotel.
The greek salad was good but the main course that was fried beef steak in a thin batter was not appreciated and neither was the side dish, which was some mushy carrots.
I spent the last 6 days travelling all around Poland so I have some idea what to expect of restaurants.
The operators are very nice kindly people but the service is not professional and the standard of the food is not equal to the looks of renovation. I was also disturbed by pipe smoke but I couldn't identify who was smoking in the restaurant.

Staying on the hotel next to it, we dinner and breakfast here. For dinner we took pierogi, zurek soup and beer, and we were very satisfied with it. Very tasty and Polish and very good prices! The breakfast was also very completed and good.

Burger 66 this is one of this places which are made with huge passion, not only for burgers :) Food has absolutely perfect quaility - it is always fresh, well prepared, with high quality bread and meat. Atmosphere is very nice and calm. What may I say? You just need beach chairs, some bottles of unusual drinks and beers, relaxing music and Burger 66 will become the most popular place in NDM :)

We arrived by train from Warsaw to Modlin with time for lunch before the flight. We ventured up to the 'main' road as we knew it - 'Kopernicus' where our hotel was located on our arrival the previous year. We intended TK hi to the restaurant by the church but on passing this small place we saw the 14zl lunch menu of soup and lasagna. We ventured in. The phone rang constantly fur takeaway orders. We sat down and saw the locals within the same deal of enormous portions. We chose three menus and the beer was only 5zl a big glass or bottle, cheapest we had found in all Warsaw but we were in a town near it! No dark beer though :-(
Two other obviously locals pairs of guys came and were served ahead of us, fair enough, we were in no hurry!
The food came. Smaller portions but still adequate! Just as well as the couple eating had to take a doggy bag home!
It was tasty and good value obviously.
The picture of our walking by the railway is the 800m walk more directly back to the station. It was a muddy trackside road and we should have taken the tarmaced one a parallel street up as less slippery ice and bottles to trip up over.
Worth the trek.
When we had arrived last year at 10pm it was closed so we had a drink in the hotel restaurant (swan?) instead as they had also closed the kitchen by then. The only place to eat quite late is the pizza joint further towards the airport.

Running a restaurant away from big city centers and main roads must be tough. I imagine you have to either rely on truck drivers or wedding couples. This one copes with the challenge well. Take tasty, chiefly traditional Polish cuisine (which I am not a big fan of) and great service - and I want to have an reason to drive along route 62 again!

The lady gave excellent service, she spoke English and understood English very well. We had two drinks each and two courses and it came to around £21 for the total, which is excellent value. The food was nice.
