The Bamboo Terrace is located on the edge of the beach down from the Medewi point break with excellent uninterruptable views to the point and the waves. Truly bliss.
Access to the restaurant from the main road was through an old abandoned and demolished hotel property. We were not sure we were headed but persisted across muddy ground (unseasonal rains!) until we stepped into the restaurant and onto the bamboo Terrace. There are split level bamboo platforms with lounge chairs and tables awaiting you for a relaxed afternoon. I was there with two others in July, which should be peak Surfing season, but were virtually alone. There is a bar and kitchen. Service was a bit slow, but who's in a hurry in such a remote and relaxed corner of Bali? It has a typical menu of western and Indonesian snack food at reasonably average prices. Our Nasi Goreng was good standard indo food washed down with a cold Bintang.
Departing along the beach walking toward the point at high tide was along a path, at one point with a short bamboo bridge crossing a small stream, to the main warungs and surfer meeting point further up the point.
Definitely worth a visit.

This little treasure might be hard to find but is absolutely worth the trip.
The menu consists of Indonesian and international food, but the best is the Indian food. We had 5 amazing curries including Paneer, butter chicken and beans.
Lovely host that serves with her nephew.
Best food we had in Indonesia so far.

The food was very very good. The staff was very friendly. We ate there for dinner then we came back for lunch the next day for the special "chicken yoga"that was very good also.

We came here after looking around for slightly western spot in a rather local and non touristy destination (well, as of october 2017). The burger menu attracted me. But the hosts were the ones that kept me well entertained. They both spoke good English, which was rare in the area. The menu was interesting. We both got the pizza, but we're wee bit disappointed. we've been spoilt with Italian pizza and this was not the thin crust Italian type. For a little cafe at somewhat remote place, the taste was absolutely outstanding. They were very generous with toppings too! The hosts were was warm and courteous. The wall murals was very cool. You could tell that the young owners put their heart and soul into this place. I'll definitely come back and check out the black bun burger next time. You should come check it out too!

We love to eat here, have visited many times. My favourite is Ayam Rica Rica, a sweet and spicy chicken dish. Lovely local dishes and some western dishes for the young ones. Frequented by both locals and tourists. Kadek and her husband Komang are wonderful hosts.

Nice place and staff are friendly. Great view. Happy to serve meals in our room but we went up. Cocktails were good. Guacamole was hot..how I like it. All the food needed more salt but once added was very tasty. Fish serve was small, just 2 small pieces. We’d eat here again happily.
