Many years with hollidays in this area also means a visit to Golden Bar, recently on tha car week 2014. This time we also find that the restaurant got a new outlook and outside area with nice tables and atmosphere.

Ligger i ett industriområde och du behöver veta var restaurangen finns i förväg för den syns inte från E12. Lunchlokalstuk i inredning. Bra pizzasallad. Stora pizzor som är helt OK. Du betalar i kassan när du går.

The restaurant itself was in a pretty cool shape, but inside it was more the feeling of a cantine. The food was good, and we were all satisfied, but it was very much a feeling of just easy made food. They had a vegetarian menu, which was cool. Prices were low, so this is the place to go if you want average food to a low price. I was satisfied, but nothing beyond that. You get what you pay for.

I've visited the coffee shop many times.
Husband and wife Budha and Katarina manage and run the café. The star of the show is the locally imported, selected, and roasted coffee beans which Budha prepares in small batches right in the back of the store. He's also the barista and prepares a broad selection of coffee variants. He's rightfully proud of his product and loves to help customers choose the right coffee for them as well as taste the coffee and find the flavors and aromas for themselves.
The coffee shop also offers an evolving menu of mostly cold dishes, cookies, buns, and sandwiches. Sometimes they offer a salad or a grilled Sandwich, but not every day.
In the summertime, there's a lovely outdoor group of tables just above the coffee shop, as well as some tables facing the street.
In the store there is a section where you can buy Budha's coffee beans by the bag, as well as a range of ecological / organic foodstuffs.
Sometimes, Budha prepares a specialty coffee beverage, slow drip cold brewed coffee, which soaks for up to 24 hours and is served on ice in wine glasses. We've tried three different varieties of coffee this way, and all made for excellent and interesting drinks, emphasizing completely different aspects of coffee compared to drinking it hot.

We went here 2x for lunch and it is a very relaxed place. You order at the till and then they deliver your food at the table. You can drink coffee, tea or water for free. Also other drinks (like soft drink, special coffees) available when you pay.
We ate once a baked potatoe with chicken curry resp. shrimps with dill sauce (delicious!) and the second time we ate the savoury pie. Both was delicious.
The place seems to be popular by locals as well. Both times it was busy and it is a great place to watch people!

We went here 3times, 2x for dinner and 1x for lunch. The staff is very friendly and inviting and the food is great. Salad, bread, a glass of water and afterwards a coffee (with mint chocolate) is included. The pizzas are great and freshly made. The service is fast and we felt very much at home.
The place is very popular with locals, they come to eat in or take out a lot. Which is a good sign we think. When we come back in Lycksele, we will definitely visit again.

Vi provade Hockeybaren för första gången och hade bokat bord till 17.00. Då vi kom hittade vi inget bokat bord men det fanns många lediga så det var inget bekymmer.
Vi satt oss ner och läste menyn men det tog oss nog 15 minuter innan vi förstod att man skulle beställa i baren.
När vi väl hade beställt fick vi maten snabbt och den var riktigt bra. Vi hade även planerat att äta efterrätt men tyvärr blev det inte riktigt som planerat.
Hade allt klickat som det var tänkt så hade betyget varit ett snäpp högre, men maten uppfyllde våra förväntningar.

Åt mat i fredags på restaurangen med familjen. Vi hade höga förväntningar sedan förra gången vi var hit då allt var toppen. Kan säga att dom förväntningarna inte inlivades.
Servicen var mycket sämre än sist, om man vill ha bra service här ska man bli serverad av Mikael Enfors och ingen annan. Han kunde inte riktigt vad vi blev serverade på tallriken eller vad som fanns för utbud.
Barnen fick ca 20 minuter före oss andra, bra att de fick före men de hann ju bli klara innan vi fick vår mat. Deras pannkaka smaka köpt å mjölig.
Våran plankstek smaka bra förutom att mitt mos var alldeles för salt och när vi så till skulle det göras nytt men fick vänta 15 minuter på det och de andra var övervänt och köttet var kallt.

Denna kåta ligger mysigt inne på campingen nära älven. Om vädret tillåter kan du sitta ute och njuta av den fina utsikten.
Det är väldigt mysigt och servicen är bra. Mycket trevlig personal.
Jag gillar bäst när dom har buffé, den brukar vara toppen! Då kan du ta hur mycket du vill och det du vill. Portionerna annars kan vara ganska snålt tilltagna om än snyggt upplagda.
Rekommenderar alla att testa deras misommarbuffe', jag ser fram emot den!
