One of the best Pizza places in Ludvika. They have great Italian style pizzas.
If you dine in they offer good salad and bred when you wait your food. If you bring home you will be surprised of the good quality and great size of the pizzas.
Quite simple place to eat in, but the food makes up for it.

We went to the restaurant for the first time last week and ordered food for 4 persons to go. We didn´t have to wait for long and the dinner was good and the portions where large. The restaurant has food from China and Thailand and I noticed that they also serve other melas lik meat and fries if there is someone in the company that doesn´t care for asian food.

I have been to this place several times and always liked the Greek dishes.
But this time I decided to order something I never tried here: the moussaka.
My expectation was to get something at least closer to what they serve in Greece, where I have eaten it several times in the past.
But their version is very far away from it.
I have never seen potato slices in a moussaka and the one I got had a big chunk of the bottom layers made exclusively of it. In fact it was very hard to find any eggplant in this dish.
The service is also becoming a bit inconsistent. I never got pita bread on my table while I have observed that everyone else did.
Nevertheless, still a good option, but it is definitely going a bit down.

This restaurant is ideal for lunch and close to ABB. The view on the lake is impressive. Staff is nice. Food is quite good and, according to me, it deserves a mark of 4 over 5!

Entry level blends a bit too much and is a bit out of sync for it to feel genuinely. Upstairs is a gem for cafe historians. The coffee came from a thermos which surprises a little when you read about the bakery.The selection of pastrys and cakes is not impressive but then should we think that it is in the provinces. During summer Engel open a summer coffee at Hammarbacken which can be a nice alternative.

Homemade food served in cozy and warm traditional restaurant. The staff are nice and friendly and the food was quite good. It is a nice place to have celebrations and or just hanging out with friends and co-workers. Try it for pancakes. Soooooo yummy.

Kyoto serves great sushi and fine beef stirfry in a jiffy. The place looks a bit run down and we wouldn't have entered if it wasnt so crowded, but I am glad we did. My wife had the medium sushi and I had the stir fry. Green tea comes free and is really nice and mild. Go there!

Redan på 1600-talet fanns ett gästgiveri i Grangärde, men nuvarande byggnad är "bara" från 1850-talet (dock ombyggd efter en brand på 1930-talet). Restaurang- och hotellrörelsen fortsatte fram till slutet av 1970-talet då en period av alltmer minskande verksamhet följde.
För ett antal år sedan väcktes gästgiveriet ur sin törnrosasömn och familjen Hammarberg bedriver idag sommarcafé med lunchservering under resten av året med både hotell, julbord, arrangemang och fester. Vi har gjort flera besök under åren och inte haft anledning till några stora invändningar.
Vid vårt besök i början av augusti gällde fortfarande sommartid och vi valde smörgåsar och fika, som visade sig vara både goda och prisvärda, blott 110 kr.
Läget i vackra Grangärde bara ett stenkast från Bysjön säkrar en 4:a.

Grangärde Musteri har en av de största odlingarna av svarta vinbär i Europa. Här görs mängder av marmelad, sylt, saft, must, gelé, cider och glögg med smaker.
I ställets egen gårdsbutik kan man köpa inte bara egna produkter till fabrikspris, här finns också en rad andra produkter och presentartiklar samt ett café med bra priser som förutom traditionellt fika serverar pajer och smörgåsar - deras baguette med gustavskorv är till exempel inte att leka med!
Ett besök rekommenderas.
