it's a pity the restaurant don't take Reservations. the service is fast and correct a bit "depersonalised" though since the waitress run all the time, the food is ok.
if you are outside, unfortunately the smokers will invade your "sobremesa" with smokes... a pity.

High prices for small portions were not unexpected for this kind of top end restaurant (16 points on Gault-Millau, although last year it had 17), and the food was indeed good, refined and elegantly presented with a sofisticated touch of molecular cuisine. I can't complain about the service either: quite friendly. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was deceiving: the place feels a bit cold, not all elements of decoration are very tasteful for such an elegant place and the absolute absence of background music makes you feel uncomfortable talking as every word reverberates in the room. The wine selection is nonetheless very impressive.

Food is very good especially the "Aldo Lasagne", everything is home made and the presentation of the plates are good for the eyes too.
Aldo and Ruth make a great team, Ruth in a quiet and gentle way, Aldo in a very exuberant way but they match.
Aldo will explain to you about the different dishes that are made daily and he will also recommend the right wine. Petra is the waitress and she is also a lovely person.

we had dinner here, and it was good, even very good, but still below expectations. we opted for the menue (one surf, one turf, with respective first and main dish) and a bottle of wine. somehow it all lacked the last little bit, in taste, in presentation, in service. for the price (200 CHF for the two of us), I would expect more. compared to our dinner in Locanda Locarnese (for the same price), we felt disappointed.

Service is excellent, place is great and well maintained. Food is what you can expect by the best chef in Ticino, by the way he is an Italian guy... Prices in line with services and quality served into your plate. Great wine selection, maybe a bit too expensive some brands from the area. Overall great experience, highly reccomended for whom is looking for something special.

Don't forget to reserve for this restaurant! A wonderful meal with excellent service - very friendly. I had the risotto and porchini - delicious. Everyone at our table had something different and all were very happy. We also chose a regional wine which was also excellent. We're tempted to go back tonight.

We’ve been to Grotto La Risata to taste the typical dishes of the region. Couldn’t be more satisfied!! The entire experience was stunning from the moment we stepped in. Perfect location, wonderful outside Terrace, good ambience and cheerful owner. Average prices, surely worth it. Definitely recommended!!

Outstanding garden and food to match it. Day specials were fresh and local: sweet tomato salad with fresh cheese, octopus carpaccio. In good weather it is FULLwhen unfortunately smokers love to seat outside and spoil the taste for the others not smoking. The service was warm - a rarity in Switzerland!

The restaurant/charme hotel T3e Terre in Ponte Brolla/Tegna features a big Terrace with pergola for pleasant outdoor evenings, as well as a spacious banquets dining room with cheminee and a sight on the Maggia river and a dining room with plenty of atmosphere. Il also has 5 brand new double rooms with every comfort, a garden for receptions and a wide free parking lot. The T3e Terre closes on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS (middle July till middle August: wednesday evening open). The executive Chef Marco Meneganti proposes different mediterranean and local cuisine’s dishes and gives particular attention and care to the choice of the ingredients, always fresh and of a high quality. Let yourself be tempted from our nifty appetizers, our handmade pasta, our delicates fishes or our tasty meats, to end up with one of our delicious desserts… You can join the T3e Terre very easily: either by car or by the well known Centovallina, whose station lies only couple of minutes on foot from our restaurant. We were invited by friends for dinner who asked me to chose the restaurant. We have been to T3E TERRE several times before and were never disappointed. This evening our friends applauded my choice. Perfectly cooked dishes, friendly staff, nice environment, good price/performance ratio, what else can you ask? I highly recommend this restaurant.
