"Kanioria" is a family restaurant located at the seafront.Nothing can be compared with dining at such a peaceful and beautiful place. Olive oil and fresh ingredients are used for our recipes. Try locally caught fish at reasonable prices here. House and regional wines are excellent. Dessert is always available.

We have been there 2 times in 2 days. Mussaka is amazing, the pizza is very good. Wine 0.5 kg for 3 euro. We simply loved it, there is always full of people, but they will find a place for you. Easy restaurant but you feel they really care about you in there. Prices are very low, we recommend it!

Our first visit to Thymari did not disappoint. The menu is interesting and different for the area but still essentially Greek. The wine list is extensive and unusually featured wine s from France, Germany, US New Zealand.
For starters we had Beluga Lentil salad, Tuna Tartare, and Mussels. All were superb. The portions were , however, quite large and the taste so good that we over indulged. Our mains were Lamb, Pork Brisola and Lasagna. Unfortunately we couldn't finish them as we were a bit full and the sources were very rich. The meats though were cooked to perfection.
So I would happily recommend this restaurant but offer some words of warning . If you don't have a big appetite, share or avoid starters. It may also be helpful to ask for some time to rest between courses. I'd suggest booking as even on a Tuesday evening in September the place was pretty full.
Starters seem to be around the seven euro mark, mains between fifteen and twenty. Wines were a bit pricey. Atmosphere is lovely.

Went here based on the Tripadvisor reviews and so glad we did. I never thought of Greek food being aromatic, but the moussaka had so many layers of flavour and spices going on. It really was the best I've ever tasted. Lovely fresh salads to accompany it.
Ambiance was really nice - tucked away in a little side street. We got there early (7:30pm) as we didn't book, and the place was full shortly after that. If we visit Lefkada again, this is where I'm going for moussaka!

Great food and service. A surprising find. Pork and tuna souvlakis were fresh and beautifully cooked. Very popular and other diners clearly having a great time. The restaurant is small with tables only outside, so be prepared to wait a short while. The wait is worth it.

Very delicious, home made type. I had a medium done tuna and avocado salad. Highly recommend!!!! We were 8 people, everyone was quite happy with their dishes.

Hidden retreat positioned in a old Lefkadian house with a secret garden full of shade and caracter. Selection of Greek wine, beer and cold plates. Classic and fusion cocktails, wine mixers and a possibility to ask the barman for something special. Relaxing atmosphere and design trinkets around.

We really enjoyed the delicious and fresh Greek salad, along with the small plates of grilled stuffed peppers, and the lightly fried eggplant and tomatoes! Just enough for an evening meal with a crisp dry white wine! Service was amazing too! You will love this restaurant!!

We shared the special " Grilled seafood for 2 persons" . It had swordfish, tuna, shrimp, and octopus. All served on top of fried potatoes, spinach and a green salad.
It was delicious and perfect for two people.
Amazing value at 30eu.
Good service and friendly staff.

Most people dont find the place, but its very close to the square of Lefkada where its very busy. Here its a quiet place to have a dinner and a very good wine. Its made like an atrium surrounded by houses an trees. Here you can relax and enjoy the holidays. So go and find out your selve.
