Alternative Lefkada is a real 'find'. The 4 of us, including 2 teenagers, spent a wonderful evening with the family, tasting Greek teas and coffees. liquors, wines, olives, meze; then made our own moussaka, stuffed peppers & tomatoes and Greek salad. Finished off by more wine and sweets. And some fun Greek dancing with Aunty Olga! The team deserve to be really successful - they are charming, generous and the most excellent cooks. We met most of the family including their lovely children. It was great value - but more than that, it was a FANTASTIC experience. Our advice - DO IT!

You need nothing more than the pictures attached to understand the magic of our sailing trip in Ionion Sea. What the pictures can’t show you is how well organised this Sailing Cruise Company really is and how they correspond to their client’s even peculiar demands. Panos, Virginia, Anthee and Spyros, everybody in «Sailing Ionian Sea» had prepared every tiniest detail so that our cruise would be totally undistracted. A week in the sea felt like months away from the office. Many thanks guys and be sure we ‘re definitely coming back.

Unspoilt beach very long and beautiful. Blue sea but be careful of the rocks in the sea. Kite surfers take over in the afternoon when the wind gets up. Beach is more shale/pebbles than sand.

I ve just finished my daily cruise with these guys. Everything was perfect : the boat, the itinerary, the food ( they serve a rich typical lunch, and two snacks - ouzo included!). The girl and the boy (the captains) are extremely nice and explain anything you see. The price (quite low)Is absolutely worth it. All in all my best compliments for your organization guys, efkaristo!

Best place where you can have a quick snack or a tasty dessert, a good expresso or some greek wine, with a great Panorama of the lagoon and a great sunset. Friendly staff, nice music and a great atmosphere that makes your staying more than pleasant. If you visit Marina Lefkada, you must stay at Sea to See, on their confortable couches and feel The Relaxing Atmosphere.

It has a pleasant enough view over the canal and the bay - but don't think Venice need be quaking in it's Italian boots somehow.However, it does transform more dramatically when the sun is setting & is good for romantic photo opportunities.
Sometimes the smell that drifts in over that area can be rather eurghy.

Went on day trip around the island of Lefkada with Reflections travel. This was out first stop and would have appreciated more time for a good look around the site. Reflection rep talked about the history of the castle in the church for half an hour then we were given 10 mins to look around!! It looked an interesting site with good views of the town of Lefkada.

great spot, with a nice view of the harbour of Lefkada town. amazing and imaginative coctails some of them with greek flavours - try the one with mastiha! they are a bit pricy but are worth it.
it seems that is is quite popular with locals which is always a good sign.

This is a nice beach with beautiful water. Since the beach itself is quite long, it was not overcrowded, even in high season (August). There are several bars/restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat, too. My experience was that this beach was quite a bit windier than other Beaches in Lefkada, especially in the afternoons. As a result, the most northern part of the beach is a magnet for kite surfers in the afternoon. I kind of liked the kite surfers as it added life to the scene and it was quite picturesque.
