Prior to touring the impressive Basilica in Gniezno, we had lunch in the restaurant at the Pietrak Hotel. The surroundings are beautiful and the service was excellent, as was the food. I had a Greek salad, which was superb, along with a couple of glasses of Tyskie. One of my colleagues also had a salad and a couple of beers and our Polish hosts had chicken dishes. I would certainly return to this restaurant.

This is the best restaurant in Gniezno based in the town hall building. Very surprised not to find it on your Gniezno restuarant listings

Place has been recomended by local people and they were right very good food nice interior, 5 minutes from the Cathedral. Its not a Michelin restaurant, but still high quality for a restaurant in a small Polish city. Good selection of wines (not long one but you can find sth to your taste). OK service. You could say its a bit pricey for Gniezno.

Very tasty food, very friendly and calm atmosphere. Perfect both for a romantic dinner or a family evening out. Rather average prices. 'Soup in bread' was good and meat was delicious. And the best part - they have lots of toys for kids so parents can have a really nice and relaxing dinner :)

Nice place in the city of Gniezno, not so far away from Poznan. Restaurant is located in an old renovated building, looks outside like a warehouse. Interior is very nice with a lot of bricks and wood. You wouldn't expect with a name like that but food is mainly Polish and good. Can recommend it, good meat and fish.

Well...it is quite difficult in Gniezno to find a place in general. Just for sitting through a cold Monday. This place was especially inviting since it's prices are really low and the helpings are huge. Good bistro food in small town of Poland. Service is really nice and the interior looks fresh. They have a huge amount of different tea, which was really necessary since it was freezing outside. You can easily spend your whole day here without spending too much - eating good and feeling comfy. I like it.

This restaurant is located in the town of Modliszewko near Gniezno. (Modliszewko is located halfway between Poznan and Bydgoszcz)
Good food, friendly service and a pleasant place. Also worth noting is that the service is quick and we didn’t wait long for our meals.
The menu includes traditional regional dishes as well as few other meals.
In summer there are a few tables outside with umbrellas.
Conveniently there is also a spacious parking area near the restaurant.
This restaurant is a good choice if you are on route from Poznan to Bydgoszcz.
We would definitely return again when in the area!
