Few restaurants in this city and more or less they are the same in quality and pricing, with pros and cons. This is an little bit less overpriced compared the other two "high" profile restaurants and have the best service. After days of dinners with fish i ordert in this place an steak medium-raw. They served me an overcooked steak. That's an big mistake so i gave an point less to this places. Other fish dishes served was good.

Our first dinner we had in Barreirinhas was at this place because we stayed at the hotel (by the way: also the best hotel in town. No doubt about that). We were a bit surprised: for Brazilian standards the food was excellent. And believe it or not: the pizza they prepare is definitely the second best pizza we ever had anywhere (if you're interested: the best Pizza we had was in Big Sur, California). It is so incredible good and delicious. We also tried other restaurants in town but we were always happy to come back. We loved Porto Preguicas.

The Bambae is our charming and cozy Bar, Restaurant and Pizzaria. Set on the right bank of the river sloths has private river beach, hammocks, outdoor showers and kayaks for rent. Each room has been designed and furnished with great care and refinement to give you the best moments while with us.

The restaurant belongs to the pousada Encantes do Nordeste, where we stayed and which is great. Is on the riverside , very well located and all planned perfectly, in contradiction with the surrounding facilities. Very tasty food and friendly stuff! Relaxing hammocks and a big garden to spend time after lunch/ dinner! Highly recommended!

The place is very simple but very pleasant. The setting is perfect surrunded by dunes, river and ocean. Service is a bit slow as it should be. You are there to enjoy the place, the views, the breeze, the nice owners and specially the food. The superb schrimps! Unbeatable! Why hurry? I am proud of my cooking and I envied Luzia by her schrimps, the bests i ever had.

Antonio's restaurant is a welcoming place in Canto dos Atins. The owner greeted each one of our group and memorized our names and the plates we chose - the main attraction is the grilled shrimp.
It was the best shrimp I have ever had in my life (so far) - it is well served for 2 and it has a tasty sauce - I asked for the recipe but the owner says it's a family secret ;)
I will definitely come back!

The food is basic, also not many options. But very fresh and tasty. All see food is recommended especially the shrimps or the "pescada amarelha".

We felt very welcome by the young and friendly restaurant staff. We ordered a fish bites appetizer - that was so well-served that was enough for 2 people having a lunch.
The restaurant is simple but charming with a view to the sea, lots of small tents with wooden "tables" and some hammocks for the customers to rest after lunch.

During our stay near Barreirinhas we visited this restaurant on the riverside twice. Nice ambiance and they serve some tasty fish dishes. Pizza too but we did not try these. Not expensive at all. You can sit outside too and try one (or two) of the many coctails they make.

I have been eating here a couple of times. Some chicken and a "self service" churrasco! was deliciuos. A little bit expensive to be in Barreirinhas, but was a good quality with lotsa different food to be chosen. Good river front view. Ony a thing nobody speaks english!
