It is a summer restaurant with at a beautiful setting.
Very nice service. Apparently a summer restaurant with some culinary ambitions.
When we came at 19.30, it was fine dining. At 21 it was another clientele enjoying a quiz and eating shrimps!
But nice. We had a moose hamburger that was very tasty. Nice wine list.

Nice place on the waterfront. Menu is varied and the food good. I had the Swedish speciality "lojrom" (caviar) and my wife ordered a filet steak which was perfect. We were both very satisifed with the atmosphere, the food and the service and will certainly be back.

Very inexperienced and unattentive staff made this a three instead of something much better. The food (I had the pork filet with bacon and mushroom sauce) was SO GREAT!! Really lovely! The atmosphere was also pleasant, so I really would have loved to love this place. But the people serving the tables were so... uninterested. Had to wave and raise my voice to get any attention at all and they didn't clear the table between dishes: just pushed the used stuff aside.

We arrived early in the day, and even then there were quite a few other guests there so it must be a popular Place for the locals. They have outdoor Seating which must be packed during Summer. The pastry we tried was freshly made and delicious. Will absolutely Return there on future visits to Arvika. It is centrally located With the Railway station and shops and market Place in the very Close neighbourhood.

Who could thought that one could find such a good restaurant in Arvika (no offence Arvika, but you are a small town). The interior is exciting, the service excellent and the meat awesome. We where a party of 12 but we did not have to wait long before our food was on the table, the wine recomended by our friendly waitress matched the food very well. Absolutely recommended if you want a really good dinner in Arvika. If you are a vegetarian, this is not the place for you...

We stopped here after walking a long day of activity looking for a good, quick meal. We ordered pizzas and kebabs and we all left the restaurant very sated. The food was very tasty, the portions were large enough to satisfy my 6'6" husband and the staff could not have been nicer. My only problem was deciding what to order. Every time I thought I knew what I wanted, a waiter walked by with some new tempting dish and I changed my order many times. The rpices were very bedget friendly, without cutting in on quality. We would go back!

In the deep woods of Varmland you find this magnificent tavern Tvallen. It's a bit of a ride, from Arvika, but it is definitely worth it!
The menu was full of delicious meals such as roast elk, deer roast, boar and different kinds of fish. Some served with for example chantarelle-sauce. Yummie!
The desserts were also very tasty, tried the blueberry-raspberry pie and the créme brulée, fantastic!
