Our tour guide recommended this place and after researching it a bit, we went for it. Prices were very reasonable and service (up until we needed the bill) was exceptional. The waitress helped us pick the perfect amount of food, and we at it *all*. And we didn't need more... We had lamb kabobs, cigars, hummus plate, St. Peter's filet, and schnitzel (for the kids). This was a multi-generational seven-person party and it could not have gone better.Avi stopped by to say "hi" and to help my parents with their Israeli cash. Do bring cash--there was a discount (or a lack of a markup) for paying with cash instead of credit card.

This unassuming restaurant, in the middle of a residential area, has been a huge surprise for us. The place is clean and well-lit, the service quick and friendly and the food excellent and in generous portions. The cuisine is Israeli-Mizrachi, meaning lots of salads, different kinds of skewed meats, humus, etc. And most importantly: this is NOT a tourist trap, unlike many other restsurants in Tiberias.

Great restaurant. The food here was amazing. The hummus is quite possibly the best we've ever tasted. Also highly recommend the fish, and a rice dish (cannot remember the name but recommended by the owner). The Tabbouleh was just divine. The service was exceptional. The owner Mr Ziv really went out of his way to ensure we had a great time and the atmosphere is great. Good value and great quality food and service. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and is located down a pedestrianised side street off the main road (near Leonardo Hotel). We were in Tiberias for 3 days and at here twice, that's how good the food was. Would highly recommend Laguna restaurant.

Hard to realize such places still exist.The meat had that rare phenomena of frozen inside and hottest outside (hail the microwave. .), the sparkling water had no spark and the vegetables salad was definitely more tired than I was after 3 driving hours.Luckily we brought our own wine.No need to include more examples, just please please do not go there.
