Good but Very Poor breakfast offering

Reviewed By iainm408

This is lovely place to stay, so it is a pity that the breakfast offering is so poor. There is very little put out, no fresh pastries, a token attempt at salad (chopped cucumber and tomatoes), and the coffee comes from an ageing machine. There is little/no attempt at any variety so if you are staying for a few days its going to be pretty much the same. It is obvious penny pinching, which is a pity, because for a little extra cost and effort it could be so much better .

Good choice for a visit to Jerusalem

Reviewed By juanorlandopg

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of West Jerusalem, just one minute away of Jaffa Street, within walking distance of the Old City. Good-sized, comfortable, impeccably clean rooms, excellent breakfast and very helpful staff: it was a great choice for a four-day stay at unforgettable Jerusalem. We did not realise how lively Jaffa Street would be, both day and night: it was a pleasant discovery to see we were that close to the heart of the new city. And yet, our hotel, just a few steps away, was in a peaceful, silent corner: after a day walking around, we slept deeply and calmly.

A lovely home base in Jerusalem

The inn was a lovely home base for my six night stay in Jerusalem. My suite was quiet, clean and comfortable with a living area with a kitchenette and bedroom and bath in the beautiful German Colony. The innkeeper helped me navigate - where to get a Covid test, restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, getting a driver and guide. One of the best traveling experiences ever.

An excellent starting point to explore the old city of Jerusalem. I liked how it was so close to all the attractions and bus/tram etc. The location to the Old City could not be better. The staff was so helpful and smiling and very friendly. Breakfast and lunch was delicious and substantial. Just as you like it in Israel. The sitting area in front of the front door is a true flower garden. Highly recommend.
