This review is long over due! I stayed here on two separate occasions, one year apart while visiting family in Israel during the summer. Pnina and Ehud are exceptional hosts which is why Barud will always be our first choice in the area. The place is beautiful & relaxing. The family unit is specious, clean and had everything our family needed. Pnina our host was always available to answer questions and requests. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant and that we felt right at home. Thank you Pnina for making our stay memorable! We look forward to staying at Barud during our next visit to Israel.

Comfortable, convenient place to stay.

We enjoyed our first visit here in four years. The water is still boiling hot, so watch out. There is reserved free street parking at the entrance, but if it's full the hotel will let you in to their private parking lot. Breakfast is now cooked on site and delievered to your room. There's a menu with prices in each room. There are also snacks and drinks for sale at the front desk. However, we walked down the street to Benedict, where we enjoyed a really good breakfast. Our room was very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had excellent pressure. Everything was very clean. Right outside the hotel are a dozen restaurants. I am only giving the hotel four stars instead of five because of a few complaints. Although we were in a Deluxe Double Room, room 20, there was no table of any sort next to one side of the bed, so we overturned the tv foot rest and pushed it into place, putting it back the next morning (it's hardly the chambermaid's fault, after all). More seriously, the blackout curtains are still not blackout curtains, and allow a lot of light into the room during the daytime. This is a great location if you need to wait overnight for a car to be repaired in one of the nearby dealerships or if you need a place to stay overnight to get to the airport first thing in the morning. We've stayed here previously, and plan on coming back in the near future.

Never again!

We were invited to stay at King Koresh hotel. The rooms all smelt of cigarettes and the rooms were dark and dingy and did not feel clean. The food was ok though. We also had unfortunate experience with the management in particular, Arieh. I left a necklace behind and was sent a photo of the necklace which was put in an envelope at the desk. A few days later somebody went it pick it up but it had gone. We were told they would look for it and when it did not appear Arieh told me he would send me the worth (NIS250) of the necklace which they had lost or had been stolen from them. I phoned on several occasions after this promise and left numerous messages but he never called back. We actually spoke to him today and he told me that his insurance company they only have to give me NIS80 as it was 5 years old and not worth NIS250. My husband asked for his family name which he refused to give and kept putting the phone down. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Poor Experience

Reviewed By irisbW2095WH

This "hotel" is actually at the level of a youth hostel. The pictures on the website are far from reality. The room is dated, poorly maintained. The bathroom appliances were broken, the toilette smelled, and the door wasn't painted well. The coffee corner was poor. The window was stuck. There was a terrible noise of music from the nearest resort. Dinner was reasonable, but the dining room wasn't airconditioned as needed. I didn't get any help with the suitcases although I asked for it. Be careful if you expect a hotel vacation.

Not good experience at all. Staff not speaking English, very bad breakfast service, terrible building from outside. Poor internet. Only one advantage - no other hotels around = no option to book something else. If you can, select something else.

Israel Visit

The first thing people must be aware of is this hotel is located in a rest stop mall off the highway. The first 2 floors are a mall and the Hotel is situated above the Mall. The other thing one should know, the beautiful serene pictures of the roof top porch is only accessible if there are no guests staying in the rooms off the porch. If there are guests their the porch is not accessible to other guests. That being said the staff was helpful and polite, the rooms decor was charming. I would not stay again as the location is too commercialized for our taste.

Not nice owner , You have to argue about the price

Reviewed By oded f

The owner behave there is not nice and not Legal. I keep shabbat, so I agreed in advance with the owner about the price of 600 shekels till Saturday evening. After I came short time before shabbat, the owner ask 600 cash now or 700 with credit card. And if I’ll not do it I had to leave. To find another place in short time before Shabat was impossible. She knew it and used it. So instead of start nice and pease Shabat I had to argue. Sorry this “small” episode distorted my feeling for all shabbat. My advice ; Until she will not change her attitude to guest, don’t go there. Note : The contact man there was nice and try to help.

The bed and pillows were very nice. We really enjoyed using the pool! A hot tub is also available. Emmanuel and Ayala are fabulous hosts! They attended to all of our needs, and were very helpful on multiple occasions. We are planning another trip to Israel in the Spring with another couple, and we will definitely stay at Bella Troun!

Lelot Bereshit

Leilot Bereshit is a magical place in moshav Beit-Oved that is in the center of Israel. Only 15 min' from Tel Aviv, 5 min' from Rehovot, Ness Ziona, Rishon Lezion. there you can find great restaurants, shopping malls and museums. 10 min' from Palmachim Beach, one of the most beautiful and "un-touched" beaches in israel. Lot of walking pads through the fields and groves of Beit-Hanan. 2 units, both good for 2-4 persons. A beautiful and well maintained garden with big private pool & jaccuzi.

Amazing place! Great value for money ! vintage and very sheik !

Stayed here for two nights prior and after our wedding near by. Ruti Ben-Aryeh (the owner) was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was one of the best i've had with lots of home-made dishes - AMAZING. The room wasn't that big but had everything we needed for our stay there. The garden with the pool and hot tub were beautiful and set a nice atmosphere for us. The fact that pets are allowed was a huge relief for us so we could bring our jack russel puppy that played with the owner's dogs. Overall, we couldn't ask for any place better to spend our festive day and would highly recommend for anyone as the price was extremely reasonable !
