So the pumpkin soup was very different- very citrusy so that the pumpkin flavor was almost overridden. For the first time we visited the restaurant and we were very satisfied. The service is friendly, unobtrusive and very efficient. The meals are excellent and especially at lunchtime there is a special menu with offers, which have good value for money. In the city of Krefeld you have to search a long time to find a restaurant that is comparable in quality. The first impression you get when you enter the restaurant is that the furnishings are a bit old-fashioned. I didn't like the atmosphere at all. The welcome is not particularly friendly, but the service is quite fast. The food I ordered didn't meet my expectations. The mixed salad consisted of 50% coleslaw, the sauce was similar to mayonnaise. An ordered breaded chop could have been crispier, the sauce was a bit too creamy and had a taste that needed getting used to. When I was asked about my satisfaction and criticism, they only replied that all the other guests were satisfied. That's really not a smart way to treat guests.
