On our way to an exhibition we stopped to this restaurant to meet a friend and have a nice meal together. The food was really great and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The top dishes for me was the mix of "mezedes" and the creme caramel. I recommend it for a tasty meal and a nice experience.

Es ist immer wieder wunderbar! Eine kleine aber feine italienische Karte! Man findet immer etwas sehr leckeres. Entweder ein schnelles Mittagsgericht oder etwas tolles am Abend! Hier wird es nie langweilig! Leider wird das Restaurant in der Seitengasse an der KönigstraÃe oft übersehen - aber wer einmal hier war kommt nicht mehr los! Ein MUST HAVE in der sonst langweiligen Gastroszene in Krefeld

Family owned in the converted Grosse Markt. This is a jewel in the city of Krefeld. The food is absolutely some of the best Italian I've ever eaten -- surprising in the middle of Germany. Excellent wine list as well. I stumbled on this place while in Krefeld on business and return every time I am in Krefeld.

I know this restaurant since almost 17 years, when it was a very small, cosy place. it is a family run restaurant and you really feel like a part of the big italian family. They have now moved to a central location, turned it to a more upper class like restaurant. However, it is still inexpensive, especially if you consider the high quality food with its extraordinary taste. A must for lovers of italian food. When i still lived in Krefeld, I had my dinner at least 4 times a week there. My favourite dish- scaloppine al limone. Now in the new location it still tastes so delicious! You should give it a try. You wont regret but rather wish to come back again

This restaurant was near our hotel, so we gave it a shot. It seemed to be authentic italian food and atmosphere. We were served at different stages by several different waiters, all of whom were borderline rude and challenging to communicate with, but the food was superb! Of all the meals we ate in Germany, these were the only waiters that genuinely made us feel unwelcome. But again, the food was absolutely superb!

Wir haben uns spontan für einen Abend im Da Vinci entschieden und haben damit eine sehr gute Entscheidung getroffen. Auf der Terrasse haben wir ein sehr gutes Essen genossen -begleitet von einem netten und aufmerksamen Service.Die Menü -und Tageskarte ist angenehm überschaubar, trotzdem abwechslungsreich und lässt keine Wünsche offen.

As a neighbour to this restaurant I go there quite regularly for dinner and have had nothing but good experiences. The dishes are creative and well done and the atmosphere is that of a cozy neighbourhood joint. Unfortunately, the best waiter they ever had, Giuseppe, is not working there anymore...he was the heart of the business and is missed dearly now. That notwithstanding, it is still a good restaurant and I gladly recommen going there.

Unlike most other reviewers, I used the Villa Medici in its hotel function, not as a restaurant (which is clearly its main buisness). The Villa is situated in an impressive building, particularly the entrance hall imposes a feeling of grandeur upon you. The room I had offered space and had a completely separate bathroom, everything was in keeping with the semi-Italian style and comfortable. I seemed to be the only guest, which is why at breakfast there was no buffet, but I was rather asked by the very nice lady taking care of proceedings what I would like. really personal service.The hotel is within easy reach of the highway, so if you need to stay in the area and want a hotel which is not a run of the mill but rather unique, this is your place! Free parking and WiFi.

So the pumpkin soup was very different- very citrusy so that the pumpkin flavor was almost overridden. My husband liked his penne with pesto but my salami pizza was way too salty.Thank your for your Comment. Yes the Pizza was too salty. On this Week we had a new Pizza Baker. We are Sorry about that.
