âHot spotâ Beach bistro bar, with a setting, and feel not often seen along the German coast. For a small lunch, during a beach day, after beach, or sunset drink.Order and pay at counter.Surfers get together.Relatively, rather high prices, but understandable, as the remote location, and being on an island, requires a bit of extra logistics. Assumed to be very lively at sunny days, and event programme, summer evenings.Beer in bottle, no draft beer.You need to walk some twelve minutes from the parking, through the protected dunes area.You pay for parking, and you pay another Euro four, per head, for beach entrance.You can also go by bus (bus from âListâ towards âWesterlandâ, or opposite direction, but be prepared to walk some 300 meter along the main road, as well as about one km from the parking. The advantage is, by foot, you can, after a drink at this place, walk along the beach to âKampenâ, where you may take a bus to your next stop. Bus 1, off at âKampen Dikstichâ (ask bus driver).Restrooms, around the corner of the house, pretty clean for being a beach place.

The food was great, the wines too. But I wasn´t happy with the treatment of the service stuff. I ve got the impression, that they are to much concerned about the profit on the guest than a long term good reputation.Something that need improvement! The location is beautiful, the menu too - just the attitude is to pushed profit orientated- a bit to much for my taste.

Definitely a completely underrated German dish since it is - with quality ingredients - a specialty.The Matjes here were of excellent quality as well as the accompanying sour cream / apple / onion sauce. With some boiled potatoes it made a reasonable lunch.Same quality approach for the Salad with fried goat cheese. The service was very friendly and helpful with the menu of our little one.

It still remains in the old atmosphere although it does not fit to the surrounding any more. Its more a sight than a place where you would go because of the food and beverages.

We went there for lunch and we both enjoyed our meal. We both ate fish and both of our portions were big - could barely finish it. Having spent a lot of time in Italy,the risotto was not a proper risotto, but it was ok. However, one thing was annoying as I couldnot pay with my credit card - while they accept credit card, the credit card machine could not establish a signal. Luckily, my Mom had some cash with her. The staff could be more friendly.

Sylt is an island that offers many dining possibilities. And we liked the nice location at the beach, the sincere owner that served us the dishes and the big portions at L.A. Sylt. This place makes you feel like on Malibu Beach -with bad weather:) The food was fresh and delicious! From price performance view, good value when compared with other places in Sylt.

I had there a sole fish. Perfect cooking, great taste, good price (19.50â¬) with tasty potatoes.A beer (4â¬), salad, and ice cream...The waitress is very nice, the atmosphere is great... we liked all. call the to book a table in summer.

We sat down as we wanted to eat something small and had some time left until our tour-ship cast off from the harbor. We sat out side as the weather was still good and placed ourselves in a roofed wicker beach chair. Service was quick and we ordered two jacket potatoes with fresh crab. Food was nice and prices were ok for fresh crab. Drinks were ok as well, an apple juice mixed with water cost 2,80â¬.From where we sat you have a nice view over the harbor. So if you come to List, stop by.
