Food is just ok.But the service and customer respect seems to be not in the language and behavior of this place and many other places in former eastern Germany.The village, the lakes are great and holidays are perfect. But please avoid such place they call restaurants.

Kurzum, sind wir während einer Kajaktour hier gelandet, weil uns das aelbstgeachriebene Gastschild eingeladen hat. Wir hatten eine Suppe, Salat und den Hecht.... Aber bitte wie geil war dass denn!! Fackt ist hier ist alles HOMEMADE und vor allem mit interessanten Gewürz- und Geschmackskombinationen und dann gibt's auch einiges vegetarisch und Vegan!Bierauswahl ist mit dem Sortiment von Störtebeker auch mehr als umfangreich..... Somit Daumen hoch und voll genossen!

We spent a weekend in Fürstenberg and travel by boat on the lakes in the area. After returning the boat back in the evening we were looking for a place to eat. Unforunately (?) the restuarants on the lake front were reserved so we continued and decided to turn into a small road because we saw a sign with a restuarant Frosch & Fisch. The view outside was not that spectacular but the food and service were excelent. We did not regred after all stopping there. We hope that this new place will continue to serve its excelent food and coming from Berlin the prices for the food and drinks are unbeatable.

We are a new cafe and shop directly at the historical trainstationbuilding Fürstenberg. Enjoy a cappuccino, homemade cake or warm snack in a welcoming athmosphere. We also have comfortable bycicles to rent.

Vormals war anstelle dieses Schicki Micki Pseudo Cafes eine Bodenständige urige Bahnhofsgaststätte. Diese wurde vom sogenanten Nobelschröder verdrängt ( ist einer der stillgelegte Bahnhöfe kauft um sie dann gewinnbringend zu vermarkten). Seidem versuchen sich dort zwei drei Hanseln etwas Umsatz zu generieren um ihre Miete zahlen zu können. Für eine Kugel Eis aus dem Tiefkühler wollten die mir stolze 2,40 Euro abknöpfen. Diese Preislage zieht sich durch das gesamte Sortiment. Der Gipfel war als ich mich an den Tisch gesessen hatte mit einem kleinen Malzkaffee 2 Euro ( Tassen haben wir gerade keine , - geht auch ein Becher ? ) viel mir dieser um. Daraufhin wischte der Betreiber und ich das Maleur weg und ich fragte ihn ob er mir bitte noch einen zubereiten würde für einen Euro da ich ja sonst hätte 4 Euro für nen Malzkaffee hätte ausgeben müssen. Er verneinte Resolut , Daraufhin gab ich ihm meinen angebotenen einen Euro und sagte das er den Euro UND den Kaffeee behaalten kann , In den Laden gehe ich NIE wieder.

Was eating here with a school class. The place was overcrowded and the staff was very stressed. The food was simple and has a lot of pepper.On the way back to the bus the owner of the restaurant followed the guide and argued that the children was throwing trash and was destroying a fence even there was no trash at all.And have visited a lot of restaurant in many countries and this is definitely the worst I have experienced. We are sending a complaint to the travel agent about the restaurant.

This accommodation has great atmosphere! We arrived here after a day of cycling and we treated ourselves to a nice strawberry cocktail (freshly made!) in the garden. The room was nicely done, with original wooden mill-elements visible and good internet. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The meal was good, but the restaurant was rather quiet (there was one other group). Breakfast was complete: fresh bread, various spreads, eggs and fruit. And not unimportant: good coffee!
