Good Food and lovely location in the cozy town. We had the tasty Rumpsteak with Garlic topping, it was so tasty and very juicy. Service very Friendly.

>Xmas time seemed to silence th whole village but this place had laughter and warmth radiating from inside. Had shared table and felt welcomed. Great local wine, big portions and cheap prices. A tuna salad was simple and nothing special but portion size and fresh ingredients made a pleasant surprise. Bread was GGGGRRREAT. Finished a whole basket..Always good to wonder around a bit, since the main street had only reservation policy.

Klein, unscheinbar aber oho! GroÃe Auswahl an leckeren, frischen Kuchen und Torten und nicht mit der Mikrometerschraube bemessen, sondern Riesenstücke. Nette Bedienungen auch noch dazu. Volle Punktzahl, klare Empfehlung.

Great cuisine. Very friendly staff.Must try steak and desserts.I'v been there several times and every time owner met me at the door and recommend me some great meals.Also try salmon filet with asparagus. Good value for money.

Being only 1 hour 20 minutes from Frankfurt Airport, this restaurant is located in the centre of Germany's best kept secret...The Pfalz ! With vineyards surrounding you, some of the finest food and really superb German white wines are served at this restaurant. Consistent quality and a relaxed atmosphere all make a very enjoyable evening. Winemakers in the Pfalz have never heard of "Blue Nun"....and produce only the very best of high quality wines in this area - NO headache the following morning either...you will not be disappointed!!English speaking staff - no problem.

The restaurant at the Weingut was an amazing discovery - thanks Trip Advisor !!!! We had two amazing seasonal dishes cookedto perfection with a fantastic balance of flavours. Outstanding cooking at chef level. Highly recommended, great value for money at the same time, and good own wines make this place a must go.

This is the real thing. I am German, and grew up in the region, so I should know. . . Small, cosy, family-run place that serves honest and generous meals typical to the area. Great for meat lovers of course. The house wines are good, and to top it all it is very reasonably priced.

Very friendly, I think we stood out a bit as this is a 'locals' restaurant but once inside we got excellent service and were happy that the staff (family) knew we ere not local as they advised and were happy to 'show and tell' a real gem of a restaurant....

This is another good restaurant in Bad Bergzabern for those who like honest and good local food. We went in the asparagus season and my asparagus dish was too die for, with excellent local produce cooked extremely well - spot on. The atmosphere is rustic, the service friendly and prompt, and the prices very reasonable. In walking distance to anywhere central and most hotels in town.
