A small menu with locally sourced, fresh produce, the food is always excellent. Served piping hot on hot plates, delicious. Traditional surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, family owned with a friendly, cool, father & son team. The nearest I've found to to an English pub here in Bavaria. (I am an English!)

You wouldn't always expect this excellent cuisine in a "Gasthof". But they deliver! If you happen to be there while they have fresh local "Wild"/Game - I'd recommend it. More chique inside than you think from the beergarden outside. Been there many times with friends and family and always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

The Kuba is an extremely popular cult music bar next to the railway station. The weekly highlight is the thursday night jam sessions where musicians come from near & far to play and jam together creating magical evenings. There's an outside part as well. The food is simple but fine and very popular. It's a hang-out predominantly for younger folk, but everyone is welcome and it's ever growing popularity draws people from abroad. Definitely a well recommended for a visit. There are also gigs on Saturdays depending on the program.
