Experienced Buddhamann restaurant recently and I can say it is one of a kind restaurant,. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the service and food. Me and my partner were very hesitant about what to choose however the waiter was very helpful and explained the dishes with such passion which made us choose Preeda degustation menu (highly recommended!). The ambiance was superb, perfect for a cosy "winter" evening. Big thank you to the service team who was top notch throughout the evening as well as the culinary team who created such a wonderful food journey for us.Can't wait to go back!Thank you very much for your kind review. One of the best meals Iâve had anywhere in ages. We shared calimari to start and it was delicious. We had beef and pork belly for mains and salted caramel cheesecake to follow. Lovely inexpensive wine. Attentive staff. Cannot find anything to fault. I would definitely come back here

What can I say. This has to be one of the best meals we have ever had. We only discovered this restaurant as we got off the bus at the wrong stop but what a surprise. We shared a starter - jackfish - which was ample for 2 of us, and then both chose beef cheeks for mains. We are still salivating at the memory. It was just phenomenal! Shared a dessert which was also delicious. Lovely ambience and friendly staff combined with amazing food. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have time to visit again before we left as we were only visiting Malta for a short break. If we return this will be our first port of call.

I usually search for mid range, but this was edging towards cordon bleu, and the price was reflected as such. Food was very good and nicely presented, although the menu was a little limited. We sat in the the "garden", basically an outside area to the side under an awning. Very nice setting, there were a couple of families sitting inside, but it was quite quiet (although it was early evening).The staff were very nice and professional.Recommended.

We were in St Julian's Bay for just 1 week and wanted to try many of the top rated restaurants. We ate at Maltese Mama, Storie @ Sapori, Biancos, 1927, Wigiâs Kitchen, Le Majoliche and here. The good news is that they were all very good so if you are staying here you are pretty much guaranteed good food.In the face of some stiff competition we thought this restaurant was the best all round dining experience of our week. Excellent service, beautifully presented and delicious food, lovely setting in an outside courtyard â and good value too.We were given a complimentary amuse-bouche and shared a prawn starter which was amazing. My wife had a fillet steak which was beautifully cooked and I went for the oven baked fish of the day which was also excellent. All washed down with a very nice bottle of Primitivo. We didnât have room for desert!You should east here.

Tucked away in a quiet area. Nicely decorated inside, run by a friendly husband and wife team. The food was interesting, combining Indian, Italian and Chinese. The sharing platter was a mixture of several cuisines, not really sure how spring rolls fit in. Puddings were all shop bought, not home made. Thank you for taking the time to review The Old Charm.We are happy you like the place, and the friendly atmosphere, we always aim to make it a welcoming place for people to relax and enjoy drinks, and food without all the fuss of a formal restaurant feel, as we are ultimately a Winebar.We are very impressed that you have quite clearly understood our concept, of offering a mixture of cuisines which is obviously noticeable in the platters we offer. We aim to provide something a little different in Naxxar. We also offer a small selection of Indian food, influenced by family recipes, and introduce spices into some of our Mediterranean dishes to add something slightly unusual but in a good way we hope.You also mentioned the puddings, you are right they are not made in-house, however they are carefully selected by us from a local bakery, and we can assure you that they are not sold in shops.
