Very good location in St Julien. Cozy pub with superb fish & chips and Guinness, as well as local beers. We were there for an early lunch but saw people having a late breakfast that looked great. We are going back in November!

This was our visit to Malta we found this place. Lovely staff, very welcoming, great choice of drinks and food. Nothing was to much for them. Even helped me celebrate my birthday is style. Staff and singer. Definitely recommend a visit while you are there

Great food, huge helpings and so cheap, also very reasonably priced alcohol. It is were to find all the locals and no wonder. Good atmosphere, with lovey helpful Staff.We visited quite a few times in our two weeks holiday. They even do an English Breakfast. They serve food till 2.30pm and then in the evening have some pies etc.,Good place to watch sports as they have three screens.

We walked by the Traveller's Café Bar in Bugibba, St Paul's Bay, Malta looking for a place to eat, some of the places and people are not friendly. We were so surprised with the friendly staff when we walked in and the vibe were great, we immediately decided the this is the place to eat. The lovely young lady that served us, gave as a fantastic choice what to eat as we really craved some good sea food. The Fish Platter!!! Highly recommended!! Cisk Beer of coarse!

We ate twice here in the evening during our stay at the Corinthia Palace. The meat and cheese platter (serves 2) and lasagne ( daily special) were both excellent and there is a good choice of local and international wine to drink as well as a fully stocked bar. Service is friendly and the bar is popular with the locals. We didn't book but this is probably to be advised. The building is historic and there is an outside seating area for when the weather is warmer. Happy to recommend...

Casual relaxed cafe bar with a range of seating for casual drinks / snacks or sit down meal, coffee, indoor and outdoor. TVs showing latest music videos or sporting fixtures. Good affordable food selection. Happy hour with cocktails is one of my favorites! Worth a visit :)

We actually went here for lunch because our 'usual' restaurant was closed, so found this on Trip Advisor instead. But we were not disappointed. The food was beautifully cooked and the portions were large. We definitely over ordered: a pizza to share as a starter, risotto and a mixed grill (mostly to share both between us) as a main. The pizza and risotto would have been enough for us both so when the mixed grill arrived were were already fairly stuffed, but it was too good to leave any. We didn't want to eat for the rest of the day and still felt full the next day! The only downside was the huge number of flies which were constantly around the tables. Some fly deterrents would have been helpful, but it seems this is the month for flies as they're everywhere. Overall definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff and good value for the large portions.

Tucked away in a quiet area. Nicely decorated inside, run by a friendly husband and wife team. The food was interesting, combining Indian, Italian and Chinese. The sharing platter was a mixture of several cuisines, not really sure how spring rolls fit in. Puddings were all shop bought, not home made. Thank you for taking the time to review The Old Charm.We are happy you like the place, and the friendly atmosphere, we always aim to make it a welcoming place for people to relax and enjoy drinks, and food without all the fuss of a formal restaurant feel, as we are ultimately a Winebar.We are very impressed that you have quite clearly understood our concept, of offering a mixture of cuisines which is obviously noticeable in the platters we offer. We aim to provide something a little different in Naxxar. We also offer a small selection of Indian food, influenced by family recipes, and introduce spices into some of our Mediterranean dishes to add something slightly unusual but in a good way we hope.You also mentioned the puddings, you are right they are not made in-house, however they are carefully selected by us from a local bakery, and we can assure you that they are not sold in shops.
