I visited this cafe for a light lunch with my nephew. Such friendly service, I had fallen off my bike and asked for some ice, straight Tess returned with ice in a tea towel and asked if I also need a bandage.Lunch was beautifully presented even my simple toastie had a delicious side salad as did my nephews broodje croquette, both delicious. Bathrooms were spotless! Thanks for looking after me Tess great spot to stop and relax.

My colleagues took me there for a "small" lunch. They recommended traditional Dutch croquet. After a few minutes I saw in the front of me a big wooden desk with croquet in a roll, fried egg in the second roll, French fries, salad and a cup of tomato cream. Well, small Dutch lunch... :). Anyway it was very good, so I hope one day I will come back for dinner.

Wij hebben hier gisteren gegeten, de (jonge) bediening deed het zeer goed en netjes! Het was best druk maar ondanks ons niet reserveren konden we toch plaats nemen. Vooraf kregen we stokbrood, als hoofdgerecht hebben we zalm, steak, kipsaté en kindermenu besteld. Alle gerechten zagen er zeer smakelijk uit en geserveerd op een houten plank. Heerlijke Vlaamse frieten erbij. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten en de prijzen was normaal! Kortom, een aanrader. Tegenover t restaurant een speeltuintje dus leuk voor de kleintjes.

Had dinner here with my wife and daughter. The place specializes in meat dishes and offer classic plates. I had the Tournedos and it was fantastic. Plenty of tasty side dishes too! My wife had the 'old-fashioned' Asparagus plate with ham, egg and potatoes. My daughter had a side of spare ribs with fries and salad. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Red house wine was very good. Service was quick and friendly. Great place!

We visited here while passing the area. The restaurant is directly at the main square of this lovely town. We love the warmth of the place. Staff is extremely friendly, quick and attentive in their service. Atmosphere is great, warm and welcoming. Food is really very good, though for us not at risk of breaking any culinary records. Menu offers quite some choice at various price points. We both had a two course menu at 28 euro per person. All in all a very friendly place, were you are well taken care of with great food, offering good value for money.

We both had a starter and a main dish including several wines per glass. My starter was really great; baked gooseliver. Well balanced dish with great texture and flavor without being overbearing. Main and my wife's starter were very good, but not extraordinary. Goatcheeese and lamb. The house wines definitely have room for improvement, though staff was extremely helpful in sorting out a better wine for the main course. The restaurant is beautifully styled and staff very helpful and attentive. This is definitely an addition to the Lochem scene.
