Afgelopen zaterdag waren wij door vrienden uitgenodigd.Vanuit het Westland zijn wij op pad gegaan naar Restaurant Smûk in Katlijk. In Kaltijk? ... ja in Katlijk. De prachtig landelijke locatie werd gecombineerd met een warm onthaal door Paul. Onder het genot van heerlijke eigengemaakte hapjes en sapjes werd door iedereen naar hartenlust bijgepraat.Buiten was voor ons gezelschap een uitnodigende tafel gedekt, waar ons een 6-gangen diner (waanzinnige seizoensgebonden streekproducten) werd geserveerd, en ik kan zeggen "dit was een feest". Tongstrelende gerechten passeerden de revue, ondersteund door de buitengewoon kundige 'eet-begeleiding' van Paul.Alles bij elkaar opgeteld ... maak voor deze eet-beleving een fors ommetje, want het is het dubbel en dwars waard!

De menukaart voor een 3-gangenmenu is uitgebreid voor een uitgekiende prijs. De huiswijn is heerlijk en de bediening liet niets te wensen over.

On the calm street of Lindegracht. Outside a magnificant view on the Gerechtshof of Heerenveen. Inside a nice clean cozy old-school atmosphere. The service is quick, very friendly and accurate. The breads are complete and fresh, the coffee is nice.

Quite an extensive menu. Service was friendly. And the latte macchiato we were served was truly a macchiato and not a 'koffie verkeerd' as so often is the case when ordering a macchiato in Holland. The lunch was tasty, though the nachos snack was a bit weak tasting, but I suppose they cater to the local taste buds? we would have preferred a bit more zing to it.Worth mentioning, though nothing to do with food : the restroom was one of the cleanest we have encountered in a restaurant or cafe. We dont usually mention toilets unless they are absolutely bad or very good, as was the case here. Would definitely recommend for lunch or snack.

The atmosphere of a pub, where you can go casual dressed or neatly dressed, you will have a warm welcome. You will get enough attention from the owner and waitress, but not to much, not overdone.The drinks are served quickly, some finger food is served, you can dive into the menu now. Great food, fresh and tasteful, meat, fish and vegetarian. We loved it!!Recommended to everyone who wants to enjoy a good dinner, with good wine in a relaxing and cozy atmosphere.
