Because we were in the neighbourhoud and it was raining "cats and dogs" we decided to visit the Museum Belvedere. Excellent architecture which blends into the landscape with a permanent collection with the emphasis on Friesland artists. This makes the museum special because nowhere in the Netherlands you can see a collection like this one

It is fun, creative and relaxing! * Try it alone or with your friends * Do it as child party * Create a unique present * Have a signature plate for your wedding * Make a hand- or footprint of your child * Give us your creative idea and we will try to make it happen! We will do the glazing and the baking in the pottery oven at 1025 degrees C to make it high quality, dishwasher proof and the colors will never become vague.

This is a shop that you can just go in and DO something: paint your own ceramics. So you can paint your own mug or a plate or cookie jar.... Even me that is really not into creative things loved to do this. It is much more fun that just sitting somewhere and having coffee and/or a drink, It is SUPERB to go here with kids.... especially when it is raining outside.

It has been a while since I went to a SC Heerenveen match and this was supposed to be a special one as I came back to see a very good friend of mine. I love the stadium, everything is very easy to find, the stewards are really friendly and the view from my seat was really amazing.
During halftime we went to the supporters lounge underneath one of the long sides and it had everything in all sorts of ambiances.

Wij kwamen hier voor de tentoonstelling over Melle en de daarbij horende rondleiding. Zeer de moeite waard. Wat een enthousiast verhaal.
Maar ook de rest van het museum was zeer informatief. We zagen de woning van Domela Nieuwenhuis en kregen informatie over zijn betekenis voor Nederland. Er was een stuk over Heerenveen in de WO II. Verder allerlei materialen uit geschiedenis van Heerenveen op zolder. Een grote maquette van Heerenveen en natuurlijk nog een aantal kunstvoorwerpen. Al met al beslist de moeite waard. En het eerste kopje koffie was gratis. Service.
