We stopped at McDonalds for a McDonald Poutine since it had been quite a while since we had a Poutine from McDonalds as the New Bruswick McDonalds don't sell poutines anymore.. And they tasted the same as we remembered... Very clean. Very Friendly staff.. Would return...

In desperation pulled into KFC on December 31 at 6:00PM as it was one of the few places open in Riviere du loup. I figure KFC is a safe bet....wrong. The staff was trying to close early and were unattentive and rude. The chicken they gave us was... ready for this ... not seasoned properly... the first time in my history of eating at KFC where there was a lack of SALT. They forgot to give us the dessert from the festive special and they gave the wrong salad. WOW, disappointing.

New to the area, we called in early afternoon just to see the menu. The staff member (female), although with extremely limited English - and me with no French! was as helpful as could possibly be managed.Returning later we were pleasantly welcomed and provided with the Menu that had been suggested earlier.Although this is of course a fast food restaurant we found the items to be tasty and certainly freshly prepared.There is a great deal of choice, in this area, for this type of offering, my wife and I think that we made a good choice.

This restaurant is not a place where you spend an entire evening. The setup is "fast food": order at the counter, self service for drinks etc. You can also order take-away. It is part of a chain of 50 franchises. The food is absolutely great. We have eaten sushi in many places, including Japan, but the best we had here: amazing combination of taste, textures, colour. And this all at a most reasonable price

This locatin is blessed with a generous parking lot that was easy to enter and exit with a longer vehicle.We are unilingual but their employees were most accommodating.Our breakfast portions were larger than average with thick sliced bread toasted to perfection. Great coffee. Good selection of spreads.Comfortable seating, well appointed wasre separation area and clean bathrooms.So much better value than our hotel.

The best poutine we ate in Quebec. We got a small deluxe and were not disappointed. There is also mini putt in the back but you have to try the food.

It was good. The park in the back of the building is a really nice touch and a great place to eat your treats. Try the maple sundae! Yummy.
