We arrived late with two large suitcases from a transatlantic flight, tired and jet-lagged. The owners kindly stored our luggage and immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The atmosphere is intimate and warm, the service impeccable and most courteous (thank you Harry!), the food superb and reasonable. You will not regret going to this restaurant. Highly recommended! We definitely will return.

We went there with the restaurant week offer and we had a really nice night. The food was really good with interesting combinations fornthe amuse bouche. The meat and the appetizer (crab and yoghurt) were really good. The staff was really friendly and not pretentious. They went above their way to accomodate us with the baby and the explanations of food were complete.Only point of improvement would bebthe decoration.

We've decided to go in complitely spointanous, but we don't regret it at all! The really nice waitress helped us with the choice, actually recommend interesting lunch option for two. We went with it, cause this was lunch-surprise created of few different dishes, which even she wasn't sure about. And we weren't dissapointed at all. We got bruschetta, carpaccio, garlic bread and roast pork with tuna dip. These same was with dessert, which was served on one plate, but 4 different kinds. Add to this really nice decor and you will have recepie for perfect lunch. Totally recommend it! :)Dear Paulina,Thank you very much for your great review last year! This little restaurant is right on the dock of the canal in the center of Woerden. It's beautiful on the evening in spring-summer when the light stays until late. The food is very good and the menu varied. Maybe just a little assumptive, and a little more expensive than it should be, but the staff is kind and the atmosphere is relaxed and charming.

We at outdoors on a perfect warm summer evening. No problem speaking English and we were given the menu in English, though so much of it was clear to non Dutch speakers anyway. The food was really good, everything perfectly cooked portioned and balanced. One tiny oddity was the curry flavoured mayonnaise on the fritjes - great if that is all you are having but accompany a clue cheers quiche or my Tornados, not quite right. The wines were unknown to us but the waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. We ended up with an excellent wine which went very well with our meals. It was nice that the salads were not over-dressed. This is a restaurant offering class in the food and service, with no fuss and a very friendly approach.

We visit this place at least twice a month and they never disappoint. The food has a great taste due to the high quality ingredients that are being used.I personally really enjoy the way in which the restaurant is setup and decorated. Most importantly the staff is great. Contrary to so many other places the service is always provided with a smile. Highly recommended!

Very nice and cosy restaurant located in a calm square with the possibility to eat on the terrace. The restaurant provides very good food for an affordable price. The personnel is very competent, enthusiastic and nice. To go and come back! :)

Enjoyed a light 3 course Sunday lunch here on the large terrace of this unusual restaurant. An intriguing medley of various tomatoes done in different ways as a starter. Poached cod as a main course and frangipan tart with ice cream as a dessert. All very tasty, innovative and well presented. Good Sauvignon Blanc to go with it and plenty of free water. Very friendly and attentive waitress. And...free ample parking opposite. Where do you find that in Utrecht!

This is a very nice restaurant in many respects. The interior is very nice and excellent service. I think the chef also really knows how to cook as shown by the good taste of several of the dishes, with special compliments for the French fries. However, some serious problems need to be fixed. An almost complete lack of healthy vegetables is nowadays hardly acceptable anymore. Furthermore, all dishes were far too high on calories, e.g. the pumpkin soup, and especially the dessert was completely over the top with too much cookies and other stuffing ingredients. So if they adapt to modern times and give much more attention to healthy ingredients, that by the way most often can also taste great, this restaurant has a great future.
