För några år sen kunde man få utmärkt lunch på Selma, Länsmansgården eller Sillegården, men det går inte längre. I avsaknad av nämnda matställen har Peter Mårds den igenomsnitt bästa lunchmaten i Sunne, utan tvekan. Sällan toppnivå men också sällan riktigt dåligt, med ett undantag, den fabrikspanerade rödspättan - usch.

We ate here one evening. The food was ok at best. The pizza seemed like a frozen pizza. The halloumi burger was ok, but the bun wasnât the best. I think better quality ingredients would help this place a lot.

First of all this Place is in Lysvik 20 km North on the west side of Lake Fryken. When you sit down you have water all around you, the lake is beautiful. Have been travelling a lot but hard to find a more beautiful place.We came with 2 kids and 5 adults. We had Salmon, Plaice (Rödspätta) Shrimps and everyone was happy with the food. Service was also friendly and good.

The place is also a hotel, but we visited the restaurant for Sunday lunch Feb.2nd. The restaurant has a splendid view from the nice main room, they serve a standard menu with 1 fish and 1 meat dish, and of course potatoes, vegetables. etc. The exceptional price of SEK 149 (without beer/wine) did even include coffee and a piece of cake. The food was very tasty, and the lunch must be considered a real bargain. However, we intended to book a table by e-mail (According to their homepage they recommend that) but were informed that we might come directly to them without problems. So we were rather disappointed by getting a very small table in a neighboring room where a family had left a large table , and the window were facing a spiral staircase, and despite there were many free tables in the dining room. Even when asking if we could change table, they were not willing to that. Because you pay your lunch before seating we could not leave for another place, which we otherwise would have done.
