My wife and I dined at Jessicas restaurant this week. Pleasantly surprised at the with the decor, they have done a good job and it has a pleasant feel to it. The waiter who greeted us and showed us to our table was polite, friendly and caring. Water arrived quickly and he told us of the specials.I had calamari for entree and it was superb. The menu caters for all types with a real solid Kiwi approach. Steak, chicken, lamb shank, fish and duck all on the menu.I chose the lamb shank and it came with mash potatoes, peas and gravy. Very nice, I enjoyed it.My wife chose the Duck which was over cooked and the skin not crispy. It came with Kumara rosti which was burnt and dry, could not be eaten she said.So good and bad experiences here. We will go back, it deserves to redeem itself.Hi Trevor, Thanks for your feedback, I have passed it to the chef. Looking forward to see you again.

First time goers, went with friends. Saturday nite place was packed.Staff were friendly and attentive, steaks were great with smoky bbq flavour cooked as requested sauces were nice. Served with individual salad and no buffet salad bar as most steakhouses but enjoyable. Been to Bazza’s about 2 months ago and wasn’t too impressed but would definitely recommend a revisit.

Great place for lunch or tea. Something different to try. Apparently South African yet kind of Portugese + Mexican. Chicken mainly and different wraps, burgers or straight chicken and chips. The Peri Peri sauce it comes with is delivious. Not cheap at around $20 for a decent feed but came with some salad and selection of spicey style sauces to choose from. Good service. Can sit down by wall or open window. Toilet available.
