We often go food shopping in Germany, and on this occasion we went into the very large store in Nordhorn called XXXLutz. There is a restaurant on the top floor and we went there for breakfast. We ordered a large breakfast, half of which was cooked and hot bacon and eggs, and the other half is cold meat, cheese and bread rolls..The bacon is not all that great as it is streaky bacon, but it is ok. It was difficult to explain to the German waitress that we would like our fried eggs turned, but not solid. We eventually received solid fried eggs! But it was all very nice. a large mug of coffee or tea was included in the price. There was also a drink of orange juice.We went back later for our evening meal and chose a sharing plate of pork schnitzels. I could not eat this sort of food all the time as it is far too much and too fatty, but it is nice for an occasional treat.After eating our food we looked around the store. Most of the items they sell are very expensive in the store, but you can sometimes find a bargain.We will return to this restaurant for breakfast again soon.

wir sind ein kleiner essclub und gehen donnerstags immer essen. wir waren schon des öffteren hier und können nur gutes vom essen berichten und auch sehr abwechslungsreich. bedienung und sauberkeit topp. das lokal ist auch für festlichkeiten buchbar und hat auch ein super hausservice zu bieten mit personal, alles wird gestellt und sauber gemacht zu hause. hausfrauen service einfach spitze. das lokal befindet sich im nino kompetenz centrum in nordhorn.

Spontan haben wir abends einen Tisch reserviert, um einen guten Ausgangspunkt für den Weihnachtsmarkt zu haben.Die Bedingungen waren sehr freundlich, für unsere Kinder gab es ein paar Spielzeuge.Getränke waren flott am Tisch und auch das Essen kam zügig. Burger und Grillteller waren klasse und groÃ, ebenso die Nudelgerichte.Wir hatten hier gemütliche zwei Stunden und kommen wieder.

We tried to get in here on the Saturday night and were turned back because it was booked solid.When we went in on the Monday we worked out why - the service was great and the food was good, too! I had breaded chicken with mushrooms and chips. Good choice of beers, too!On the negative side, the owner was a little rude about me being from England.

Na een eerste bezoek aan een van de vele Italiaanse restaurants in Nordhorn zijn we ook hier op bezoek geweest, dit keer voor een lekkere lunch. De kaart is uitgebreid, er is voor iedereen wel iets dat smaakt. We kozen ook nu voor een pasta gerecht, de lasagne met vis er in verwerkt. Yam!! Iets anders kun je moeilijk zeggen. Dit restaurant ligt vlak bij Portofino, is minstens zo sfeervol, en ook hier vriendelijk personeel. Het is bijna een verademing om te zien hoe je als gast wordt benaderd. TOP!

Excellent food, great atmosphere. The restaurant was packed when we decided to pop in on a Saturday evening. Had main course and desserts with some wine - everything was delicious. Service was very attentive and kind! Reservation recommended since the restaurant had to turn back some clients without a reservation that evening. Seemed to be very popular in the area.

It's a nice Italian style restaurant close to the city center of Nordhorn. Quite a large card with various possibilities and well prepared. Even if the restaurant was not full the service did not quite live up to expectations, but was somewhat un-attentive.
