Tierpark Nordhorn

Reviewed By thechinesecockney - Sydney, Australia

This is a fantastic animal park near the Dutch and German border. Cost was only 8.50 euros for adults and children under 4 are free also. They have been expanding the park over the years and have a good number of animals. It is great for kids, as they can get up close to many of them, and has a large playground for them to play in also. Is not that big, so can be done easily in half a day, a great day out if you are in the area.

Huis Singraven

Reviewed By hg10054 - Oosterhout, The Netherlands

Kosten: 8 euro. Kaartje te koop in de nabijgelegen Landgoedwinkel. Zeer aanbevolen.

Kornmuhle

Reviewed By Hendrik_NL - Rotterdam, The Netherlands

During our short visit to Nordhorn we noticed that many of the city center consisted of rather modern buildings. But, our stroll brought us to the Mühlendamm behind the Europaplatz. There, on a branch of the river Vechte, was a historic complex, the "Kornmühle. This Kornmühle (Wheat mill) was in operation from the 14th century until 1989. The mill was driven by a water wheel until 1931, when engine power took over. Today the "Kornmühle"complex is owned by the city of Nordhorn and has a function as theater. Interesting.

Bewertung folgt! ;-)

Escapepoint

Reviewed By Suminify - Emsburen, Germany
