Very nice gourmet Italian in a clean, modern setting. The atmosphere was wonderful in this locally owned classy restaurant. It's on, Bonampak, the main road, right near the exit getting off the Hotel Zone, across from Superama Walmart Grocery and Starbucks. You can go into the downtown but not venture too far in. American tourists will love this. They have wait staff that speaks excellent English. Prices are great and the food was amazing. Also a private dining room for about 10 or so. Romantic, easy street parking.

As guests of The Westin Resort & Spa, Cancun, this place came highly recommended by the concierge by claiming Cenacolo had great fresh pasta and good wine... to say it was just good would be an understatement.., our evening was FANTASTIC! My family and I (3 of us total) ordered one starter salad to share (the one with goat cheese, it was delicious), my parents then both got pasta dishes that tasted as fresh as suggested, and then I got the tuna seafood dinner which was AMAZING, melted in my mouth! Aside from the pinot grigo wine we ordered at the start of dinner (which was perfect) but after dinner, for dessert since it was my dad's birthday, we got a free flan and all the waiters to sing happy birthday - specifically our waiter Gustavo, he went out of his way to make the evening special, singing happy birthday, giving us all excellent food recommendations and was overall extremely kind and very professional, which made for an elegant evening. Will DEFINITELY be eating here again! We had an amazing experience at Tempo. We enjoyed the Chef's seven course meal along with wines and champagnes to complement each tasting. It was one of the most wonderful times of my life with the beautiful piano music, attentive and professional wait staff and sommeliers. I celebrated my birthday with my family at Dolce Vita. The food was amazing. I particurlaly loved the Pasta Amatriciana. Waiters were very friendly and accommodated all of our requests. They made dinner a fantastic experience! We were staying at Riviera Maya, and we made the trip to Cancun to visit this restaurant. Definitely worth visiting!

Here is my last review... nothing has changed which is a good thing. We've been going to Les Cepages since it opened...every year on our annual Cancun trip. It is still our favorite restaurant in Cancun, and believe me there is much competition. Very reasonably priced for very high end food. Read my past reviews - nothing has changed and if anything, it's even better. Chef Sal is in love with food! Just hearing him describe the menu makes us believers. Take a taxi as it's hard to find and not on the main bus route. Just go - You won't be disapppointed.

We saw this place on trip advisor and we got the feeling that it was gonna be quite qualitative. When we reached there the restaurant was totally empty (on a Saturday evening). We thought that it might be symptomatic, but when we got the menu we realized the reason why. Really high prices compered to what they offer. They are trying to present a high class profile at a not at all modern and high class place. A total mismatch!!! Food was ok but guys hey, learn what value for money means...!Charis,You're totally right ! We are not a Modern, Flashy & Noisy restaurant as many others are (or like Fred's and we also do not have a chain of 9 other restaurants to back us up ) Our guests many times let us know they appreciate to be able to dine in an environment where one can also talk with his friends while enjoying our food and service of which they speak highly in many of our reviews.In many of them you can also read that we are a small, family runned Restaurant with a small budget but with a hi level of Food quality, service and personal attention and in a few days celebrating our 9th anniversary ( that means something no?)To bad you did not notice the "un-dressed" empty tables when you came in to a "totally empty" restaurant that had been quiet busy earlier, before you walked in...We are not cheap, yes, but very worthwhile and our prices are based on the quality and freshness of our ingredients that are of the highest standards available.You seem to like Fred's, according to your other review from the same day...well we're pretty sure their prices are higher..Hope there is, as you just joined TripAdvisor this August and only 2 reviews so far, that with time, you will also learn how to read and write future reviews...A challenge !?
