Shopping at La Isla Mall in Cancun. Asked the person helping us at the time about a good place for lunch. He promptly walked us out the door and around the corner where he introduced us to Andrew, owner of Baby Lobster. We were seated and orders taken. We both ordered a Margarita. Each was flavorful, potent, and large. They were accompanied by our order of guacamole, chips, and a complimentary brown sauce. Andrew suggested using the brown sauce cautiously. He was right. It was smoked habanero and, in small amounts, delicious. We ordered fried fish tacos and Tacos A la Diablo (shrimp). My wife wanted hers on corn tortillas but they came on flour. She said they would be okay but Andrew wouldnât hear of it. He whisked them away and, in less than a minute, returned with corn tortillas. Once again, knock your socks off delicious. in my opinion, finding the Baby Lobster was like finding a diamond in a coal mine. Try Baby Lobster. It is fun and the food is great.

Had a fantastic dinner here! Sat outside which was lovely, overlooking the water. Service is exceptional. Our waiter Juan Carlos was great - knowledgeable, friendly, attentive to a level of perfect. Donât miss the grilled artichokes appetizer - omg. Loved these. Wedge salad was great. Followed these with delicious lobster tails, rib eye steak cooked perfectly. Ordered asparagus on the side which was good; lobster and steak were served with small potatoes. Desserts are very good too - we had caramel brownie with ice cream. Moist and yummy. Went for lunch looking for a relax afternoon, this time sea food, I like the place open air, a big Palapa, no big trills but nice.I was conducted to the table by hostess and then order food to waitress Ana, to start with a test of crab was delicious and spicy two portions, main course was a Veracruz style fish with was well prepared seven with rice, desert was a coconut ice cream served in coconut shell i did order a shot of Kalhua to mix it and was very enjoyable.I noticed that at time waiters disappear so I think this needs to improve, I think this is a big restaurant and needs waiters to the ownership of tables.Hi Hernan, thank you for visit us, we're very glad and of course we're going to work about your opinon, we'll waiting for you, to give you a better experience on your next visit.Thankyou very much and see you soon

I've never experienced help from general managers in a food place . But, Edwin, the general manager and Captain Paulina, welcomed us since it was our 1st visit!! Cindy was very helpful, she took her time to explain the large variety of foods and dessert. Food was so great!!! I recommend Flamingos restaurant to everybody!!

My husband had visited this restaurant, but in the states! It was a first for me. The service is fast, the place is clean and the food is exceptional for the price. We loved our meal here. I had the shrimp lovers platter and my husband has the fried shrimp and fried fish. Our server, Daniel was very nice and attentive. We ordered the fireball appetizer and the grilled shishito peppers. Daniel brought us a house appetizer that was a spicy cream cheese with fried plantains arranged vertically. Tasty but really, just a simple cream cheese appetizer. The peppers were delicious. Not much crab taste in the fireballs though they were good. Next we ordered the tempura vegetable platter. There was really no seasoning or flavor to anything on the plate without dipping into a sauce. We also ordered the crab hot pot which my husband loved but I thought, again lacked flavor. We were celebrating my birthday so they kindly brought out a slice of a light cake with a whipped cream filling. It was light and airy and good. All that said, neither of us is feeling well tonight. Lovely meal with a fantastic view of the beach. Staff were also excellent and Esteban and Tomas in particular couldn't do enough for us - we never had an empty glass. Will definitely be back.
