The dinner room is amazing. Itâs a big dining room in the old castle and everything looks decayed. See pictures. The food is oké but there is not much choice. No special menu for vegetarians. There were only a few guests so it looked like a movie scene. The music was obnoxious. The Oscar Peterson Trio was played during dinner and breakfast ( the next morning ). It doesnât go well with the interior and is definitely not breakfast music.

Nach etwas Suchen findet man dieses kleine Cafe, in dem wir am Sonntag erstaunlich preiswert gefrühstückt haben. Nette und angenehm unprofessionelle Menschen hinter dem Tresen und ein putziges Ambiente. Interessante schwedische Frühstücksingredienzien, wie etwa diverse Marmeladen und Konfitüren oder Käse-Fisch-Cremes, alles aus der Tube oder Spritzflasche ! Alles in allem witzig und erfrischend anders.

We were in Brandenburg just for a weekend. After a long walk along the Havel we ended up at Theaterklause. We were positivly surprised about the great ambient of the restaurant as well as the great hospitality (kids included!!!). Tasty food, no reason to complain, thanks for a great evening. Lovely building and setting. Staff good. Food above average (although I cannot find any reason to serve salad with dressing on top of warm food. Saw it on every dish, a truly extravagant idea. Salad was, of course, ruined). Wine list short but not bad. Need to come back.

Our hotelier recommended we walk here for dinner through town, and it was a brilliant recommendation. Wide selection of different fish dishes with some excellent wine choices, too. And then the view out over the Havel, which flows around the whole old part of town. Very beautiful. Friendly service and an affordable and very pleasant meal. Highly recommended.

Lovely old house on the "old" market of Brandenburg. Cosy interior, good service but definitely overpriced! Small portions!Maybe for the happy few in Brandenburg..We dont even pay that much for a glass of wine in Hamburg...
