After a long drive from the UK and following a terrifying drive in torrential rain around the Nurburgring Nordschliefe circuit, we needed somewhere to stay. Clean basic hotel, a bar steeped in automatic history, what better place to spend the evening having a few beers and a light dinner

Friends were staying in the hotel so I joined them for a meal. I had the Eifeler schnitzel which was a massive serving and excellent! The atmosphere in the restaurant was great with friendly staff and obviously most of the other guests were fellow motorsport enthusiasts. If you're in the Nurburg/ring area, you won't be disappointed to eat here!

Food - goodService - goodLocation - goodValue - goodReturned after a previous visit last September.Staying in Nürburg and this is a short walk up the hill to below the castle. Love the location.Service was friendly and efficient, bringing us the menus and taking drinks/food order straight away.Had schnitzel for mains which were fresh, hot with great flavours Waffles for dessert were again freshly prepared. Beautiful views from the back of the restaurant is worth the visit alone to have a drink. Will keep going back if it stays like this.

After spending time on the Ring, this was a nice place close by to get dinner. Good prices, with a large menu and variety of food to try. In and out door seating available with multi-lingual staff.

My wife and I first stayed at this hotel on our seven week Euopean trip in 1967 and visit to the German GP at the Nurburgring. Wonderful experience then and again when I went back with our 2 sons for a few days in 2005. Perfect place to stay with good food and very comfortable rooms. View overlooking the small village in the valley is priceless. Would gladly go back again! Original owner and his son were the perfect hosts and willing to help in any possible way.

I stayed here on my recent trip to the Nurburgring and really what is there to say apart from the staff are amazing the rooms are super cosy and clean and the area is amazing. I will return back to here in the next couple months when I return back to the Nurburgring.

The staff here are really attentive and always deliver very officiant customer service. We have visited two years running now, and have always come back. They have a nice outside seating area where you can look over adenua. We visited even when they were very busy during the old timers grandpree and they all looked so stressed but still managed to look after everyone. Very good value for money, I'd recommend the mixed starter it's really yummy :)

None of our trips are complete without a trip to Pinocchios.. we visited twice this week, first time was really good, food is good, service is quick & very friendly, decent prices & large portions. 2nd time was a disaster, that we ordered a takeaway, we booked a table 2 days prior for our last night, we were squeezed behind a large table of 20, no way we could get in the seats the other customers werenât bothered about moving to let us in so we found it easier just to leave, which was a shame. Sitting inside be aware it gets very hot!! Outside is lovely & also there new upstairs area is perfect!! Make sure you book before hand!!!

Food - goodService - goodLocation - goodValue - goodFull disclosure, I know the owner but that's only because I've visited so often.The reason I visit so often is because it's a great place to go.We booked a group meal for 10+ people the night before a track day. Plenty of parking is available.The back room holds many people.The staff are great, efficient and friendly.The food is fantastic particularly the 'potato' choices!If you can stay on for beers (without track driving the next) the night can be extended with some guitar playing and shots.Will continue to go back.

First off.. bring cash, as they don't accept cards of any kind.Otherwise, the party of five was having different kinds of food (pizza's, lasagna and carbonara) None of the dishes were remarkable in any way, but compared to the prices it was ok I guess. Quite popular restaurant in the region, so don't expect to get a table if you are late. Friendly staff that likes to help you with their menu and all the choices you got.
