It is first mentioned as Thriberghen in 1159. The former municipality of Driebergen existed until 1931, when it merged with Rijsenburg, to create the new municipality of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In later years, due to growth of the villages of Driebergen and Rijsenburg, the villages themselves also merged, to become the single town of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Since 2006, Driebergen-Rijsenburg is part of the new municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

When we walked in we thought it looked nice but not outstanding, yet the food was just awesome and creative.The service was some of the best we have ever had and the wine selections were right on.The food was extraordinary and made it a very good experience.Even though the setting was not overwhelming the food and service more than compensated for it.The only downer was dessert which was all green and just not that appetizing.Just so sad for a meal where everything else was awesome.The fish they served was incredible with just the right seasoning and flavor.Left very satisfied!

B&b excellent, comfortable room with large ensuite bathroom.Had several meals in the evening, great atmosphere in restaurant. Can recommend the beef with bearnaise sauce and fish (zeebaars). Restaurant had only been open a month, but was full the evenings we were there. Service Ok.

This restaurant offers very nice seasonal dishes with a trendy look. The menu changes regularly and always offers a three course meal for a fixed price (single courses are also possible). It lies in the shopping center "Het Rond".The atmosphere is always very friendly and the young owners also speak English and German very well. In summer, you can also sit outside on the terrace.
