Driebergen is a former village and municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is first mentioned as Thriberghen in 1159. The former municipality of Driebergen existed until 1931, when it merged with Rijsenburg, to create the new municipality of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. In later years, due to growth of the villages of Driebergen and Rijsenburg, the villages themselves also merged, to become the single town of Driebergen-Rijsenburg. Since 2006, Driebergen-Rijsenburg is part of the new municipality Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

It was saturday when we're there. Never thought that this museum has a lot to tell about as well the WW1 as the WW2. This museum has 2 floors. At the ground-floor is all about the war, the uniform and its accessory is at the 2nd floor. The collection are buttons, uniform (from time to time), military rank symbols, medals, weapons, diorama, postcards, posters etcand many other. This museum is special for Dutch speaking people as there is no information in english. Entree prijs is € 3,00 but when we went home we got a bag full of books, pamphlets and ballpoints, well you can say you get your money back. It worth visit.

This is the only church in The Netherlands that was built in an empire style architecture though in a small dimension. The church in the middle with a square and houses in line on both sides. Behind the church there is a small graveyard with tomb. This church and the surrounding is a National monument. It's a picturesque a small village to see, with a negative history though.
