Reviews on Chinese food in Cavelossim, Goa, India. Cavelossim is the very picture of relaxation, replete with black lava rocks, paddy fields and views of the River Sal. Luxurious spa hotels are your key to blissful escapism. Sprawl on the beach without a care in the world—unless you care about picking up handcrafted souvenirs and keepsakes, which you can do at Cavelossim’s impressive shopping arcade.

Always surprised at what can be conjured up in the middle of nowhere. Service was a bit hit and miss but the food quality more than makes up for any minor flaws.Loved it. Loved the loo and the grand wash basin.
Specialist in authentic Indian n seafood restaurant, place to be with amazing sunset view on the bank of river Sal.
It's awesome to be here , best seafood you will ever have. Crabs are just wow. Awesome view river side. It is amazing outing

We didn't experience the food at the restaurant. We were part of their day tour - the island tour. I think the charges are highly overrated. The trip included Dolphin watching, fishing and time spent on the island including the food. Everything went well till it was time for food. The camping site was surrounded by rubbish and it felt like sitting in the middle of a dustbin! We couldn't believe we will have our food here !! But empty and growling stomach made us not think about it too much. The food was cooked right at the spot and they were cooking a king fish. We happily assumed that the fish is our food. The tour included Indians and Russians. So guess what happened next? The fish directly went into the plates of the Russians! The Indians were with seniors and kids and were waiting and waiting. It was a sad sight to see the kids crying of hunger and food was continuously being passed to the firangs. We finally got up and grabbed the food ourselves. The food served for us was pathetic! no rotis we were given bread and sabji. When asked for fish (we paid for both veg and non-veg food) they flatly denied and said no more fish. All over ! We were shocked ! After having argued (almost begged) he reluctantly gave us some small fish which was all black! kids refused to even touch it. We had to fill our stomachs eating bread slices and saabji. The daal and rice were the saving grace. We felt cheated! There was a very kind Sikh family who also went through the same humiliation offered us their food! This whole incident left us with a bitter taste about the tour. I want to tell the owner of this cruise..don't ignore Indians! Indians are travelling across the globe with loaded pockets! Don't ignore! I am not giving a poor rating but an average because the kids still enjoyed the boat ride, thrilled seeing the Dolphins and enjoyed the beach.
Casual and fine-dining restaurant.
We'd heard that along with a great menu Frank's Dot served pizza - and despite loving Indian food, sometimes its just great to have something different!Frank and his staff were great. We enjoyed lovely cocktails before we ate. Both the vegetarian & vegan pizza were spot on. Masses of topping on a good base. After Frank presented us with an apple cake - which was lovely, and then drove us back to our hotel.Frank's Dot at Eufregina Hotel, is a new establishment on the ferry road out of Cavelossim. Although we walked there - free transport is provided from Mobor.

I called in for a beer and a snack, service was slow, the snack was OK but not exciting. I don't think I would bother with an evening meal.

Fantastic location on beach. Free sunbeds. Good food and ambience. Get looked after. Waiter service.
A very picturesque setting and a simply great menu with plenty of choice.Meat, fish, vegetarian and local Goan favourites.Very very tasty and compared to the UK extremely cheap, a meal for 2 with drinks would start at about £15Thank you for your positive review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time at the shack.

We spent 2 weeks in Cavelossim and tried many of the restaurants on the beach and near our hotel the Haathi Royal. The Golden Heart became our favourite, excellent tasty Indian and Goan food made with care and brilliantly spiced and the Chicken 65 is just lovely! Great value and service to. Good bar and snacks as well if you just want a drink and nibble!

Donât usually opt for restaurants with live music but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the band and the range of songs they covered. Food was delicious and the tikka squid was particularly good as was the vegetable birrianni. Grilled king fish was also a hit . Good service with welcoming staff . Hi,Appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us,We are glad that you loved our music, food and service , our dedicated staff will be pleased to learn of your praise. They work very diligently and it will provide them with great motivation to keep doing what they are doing. thank you for the lovely response.

Set on the beautiful beach of Mobor, just outside Cavelossim, beachside of holiday inn. Fantastic views of the Arabian ocean. Watch sunset from the comfort of the shack or dip your toes into the warm sea. All diets catered for, just tell the waiter your n
We ate at Betty's Place twice on our recent visit to Cavelossim. On our first visit I had the red snapper in garlic butter and my partner had the chicken breast stuffed with cheese. Both were accompanied by delicious rosemary roast potatoes and vegetables. As always the food was accompanied by a couple of Betty's special cocktails. The food was delicious and it was a lovely evening sitting in the garden at Bettyâs Place. On our second visit we both had the stuffed chicken - two succulent chicken breasts stuffed with cheese - I struggled to finish mine. I've been visiting Betty's for over 10 years and it's still my favourite restaurant in Cavelossim.
