Reviewed By aparnac_111The hotel has been rated 4 star but has no amenities of a 4 star hotel. We stayed in Garden View Rooms which was priced at Rs 3100 per night for a twin bedroom. Very poorly maintained property with lots of insects and mosquitoes at night. The bathrooms were stinking. Not recommended for families.

Loved the swinging day bed!
Reviewed By r0banWe spent three nights at this hotel (also branded as Namasthe) which is at the quieter south end of Varkala Cliff and absolutely loved our stay. The only downside was the pool wasn’t fully operational until the day we had to check out, despite the staff working really hard to have it fixed earlier. It wasn’t a problem though, as the beach was utterly phenomenal, and we spent many hours in that beautiful warm sea. The rooms at the hotel were clean and really generously sized. Aircon and hot water were great and the wifi was ok as well. My favourite place to hang out was on the swinging daybed. It was the perfect place to read and relax. It’s just a short walk to all the attractions of the Cliff and we had some memorable sunset cocktails and excellent meals — potato and cheese momos were a standout. The staff at the hotel were super honest and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Reviewed By Basia2022It was a pleasure staying at Green House Ayurvedic Resort, which is 3 minutes walking from the Sea. Green House is a great resort with excellent ayurvedic treatmens, good food, cozy rooms, yoga space for practice (props available) and extraordinary service. I spent there one month doing my Panchakarma which was amazing. Rajeev and Hari are professional therapists with huge experience, very helpful and friendly. Overall the experience was brilliant and I enjoyed it a lot. I will definitely come there again and would recommend this place to anyone looking for professional ayurvedic treatment or retreat. Hari and Rajeev - many thanks for all your help, support and great treatment!

Lovely experience with the Doctor and her lovely therapists
Reviewed By KazlovestomoveWe stumbled upon the doctor by chance with no prior booking and she welcomed us with open arms and was very accommodating to fit in with our other holiday plans . What a warm and beautiful person,so caring and genuine. We didn't stay there but had a few treatments over the 3 days. The girls were clearly well trained and knowledgeable and we felt very nurtured. This was the real Ayurvedic experience and Dr Suthry spent a lot of time with us and was genuinely interested in our well being. I hope to return one day.

With my private porch surrounded by a lush garden I was able to have private time, but if I wanted to meet the other guests I could just go to the outdoor eating/communal hangout area. A rare match for backpackers/budget travelers in the area. Good standards to prive ratio, and amazingly helpful people running the place. Close to several great places to eat. Guests are interesting, but so are Alsin and Julie who rum the place. Their friends also drop by and hang out on a regular basis which makes it easy to get to know locals too. I could not recommend this place more!

Reviewed By VASANTH RCozy, beautiful, and comfortable stay, comes within budget. Safe access to a small back sand beach with privacy. Breakfast served in house, home cooked for the day. Host was amazing and got us arranged for everything we asked for. Over all happy experience. Will visit again.

Reviewed By marat539I have been returning to Varkala for Ayurvedic treatment for five years. Dhalia Beach Resort are the best rooms so far. You can choose a room with or without air conditioning. I lived for a month and ordered the room cleaning myself in accordance with my schedule. Very responsive service staff. Very quiet place despite the fact that 3 minutes from the cliff and the sea. Also, for any questions, you can contact the manager by phone. And more importantly for me, it doesn't smell damp like in other places. Very nice and safe place, thank you!
