we visited this little place a week ago and found the food to be good quality and well presented, the two guys who were working were extremely helpful and friendly. not the best place we have eaten in the area, but would certainly go back

Came to this place after spending some time at a nearby beach club. The staff was very friendly and our waiter spoke really good English. My friend and I both ordered the fish pasta with olives, capers, and tomatoes. Best pasta we have had in Italy. We also ordered a bottle of white wine that was super cheap and delicious. The restaurant gave us a free soup appetizer and a free fresh strawberries and cream dessert which were both also amazing. 10/10 recommend.

I've been there twice. Always good. Cordiality. Fast service. You can eat without trouble even if you have a celiac disease. We have been there with kids with this problem and they enjoyed a nice meal. maybe not too many choices for vegetables but you can have either a light meal or a filling dinner

From the outside you wouldn't give it a buck: it seams more a bar than a tavern. The staff is great and the service super. On saturday nights, especially on high season, you need to book a table in advance. Good and tasty food. Though the price isn't exactly a tavern price, it's worth.

We booked this restaurant with the plan to stay in the, on picture, lovely garden, but as the rain started falling just before dinner time we were all accommodated indoors instead.The indoor is a fairly simple structure styled like a ski-lodge with exposed wooden walls and a big fire-place, but it turns out it works very well to create a nice indoor atmosphere.The staff were all very friendly and almost apologetic that it rained and that we could not sit outdoorWe had the set menu with a "reduced starter" and pizza for â¬15 each, which turned out to be a more than sufficient amount of very tasty cold-cuts and panzanelle, followed by pizza.The pizzas were cooked just long enough and the base was just a little bit thicker, with a crust that stayed softish until finished.After the meal coffee and desserts were offered several times, but we were too full.As we went to pay we discovered that, as we hadn't taken the coffee or desserts they offered us the wine for free instead. So for 15⬠each we all had a delicious meal, including drinks.Really thank you for your review, are very important for us, especially by foreign tourists, yet expect you to torre del lago puccini in our restourant !!!

We dined here at the end of August before going to the opera. It was an excellent choice about 10 minutes walk from the theatre. We arrived at 7 which was ideal for a 9:15 start at the theatre. It was empty when we arrived and it's location isn't what you'd expect but don't be put off. Service was first class & friendly. It got off to a good start when we were given a complimentary prosecco. We had sufficient time for a primi, seconds & dolce all of which were excellent. We only wanted a glass of house wine as we had to drive later. As an alternative to the house wine we were offered an alternative which was superb and inexpensive.The restaurant started to fill up with locals about 8 ish.We had plenty of time to enjoy the meal, having parked near the theatre and strolled back in plenty of time.It looked much better value than those on the lake and we couldn't fault it. We would go again if we were going to the opera festival again

Had heard and read a lot a good things about this place, so was looking forward to the meal. . However i was really disappointed. The starters ( a selection of antipasti) were OK, but nothing stood out. MY main course of sea bream was slightly overcooked, and was served with potatoes, which were the best thing about the dish.My son who was with me and my guests were also underwhelmed by the food we were served. Certainly not memorable experience.Dear Horsedeal,i'm very sorry to hear that yr experience was not as you expeted.Unfortunatly, you don't mention when you visited our restaurant, so for me it's difficult to recall you.I hope you Will give us a second chance and pls do em me if you need asssistance for the area in the future, [email protected]

This is a family run restaurant with a real wood oven.If you love home cooked Italianfood at fantastic value visit Da O Dino.If you are going to the opera it is 5 minutes drive awayand very quick service if you let them know you are going to the opera.I have tried most of the restaurants in Torre del Lago and always return to this one

Very nice place if you want to relax by the sea or pool. Very good kitchen and a gentil hosting. Suggesting "Fritto misto di mare" or "Spaghetti allo scoglio". If you want to avoid sand all over your body, ask for an "ombrellone sulla terrazza".
